Meanwhile Wade's D is on the verge of a shutout.

The Rams should send weekly thank you cards to Elway.

How many times do we have to rub the salt in the wound about losing Wade. It hurts bad! We would have been a playoff team every year if he stayed.

Until Wade retires, which will likely be long after Woods gets fired.

It took Woods 58 minutes to realize bump and run is the way to go with a strong pass rush against a short passing team.

Quick passing to neutralize the rush was Grudens whole game plan.

Not sure how it took Joe 3 1/2 quarters to catch on.

Defense gave up 19 points. That's well below the NFL average. 12 of those points came in the first half when the offense gave them zero support. What was it, 3 and out in 4 of 5 drives? In the second half, with the game on the line, the defense only gave up 7 points early in the third quarter. For the rest of the game, giving up any points would have led to a loss, and the defense gave up nothing. They came up with the stops that they needed.

I never got the hate for Woods last year, and in the game day thread today, he was getting even more hate.

The problem with this team over the last few years has been on the offensive side of the ball. When the offense is good, they win because the defense is that good. When the offense is terrible, they typically lose because the defense can't always carry the team by themselves. Today was a perfect example of that. The O was terrible in the first half and they were losing. The offense was pretty good in the second half (20 points), and it was enough to win.

Carr was slinging it, though. Gotta give credit where due. Don't think he missed a target all day.

my favorite part was when Oakland had the ball on Denver' 15 on the TD drive and Woods was still playing his CBs 10 yards off the ball. he took his own pass rush out of the game without using a 3-man rush. that's hard to do

I'm not really impressed with Woods, but come on, the offense gave them no help the first half.

I could've completed most of those.

You've got to recognize a short passing attack after a series. Maybe two.

Those 10 yard cushions were inexcusable.

People should really go watch that Super Bowl season again. Defense didnt actually shut every team out though you wouldnt know it on here.

Sorry about that 30 yard incomplete pass, and having to watch the blatant PI over and over during the replay. Sorry we spotted oakland forward 1/2 yard every spot.

Not that dime to Roberts. A couple doozies to Amari Cooper. We get one turnover or he misses one pass and we're talking about how good the D was today. The LBs are horrible and we need more pressure up the middle. WHERE IS WALKER?!?!

Woods is a ****ty coordinator. Too aggressive then too passive. Zero adjustments let's just let Cooper catch it over and over.

Wade was getting a ton of crap during the 2016 season, even though the offense was terrible that year. I guess folks around here forgot about that.

The problems have always been on the offensive side of the ball. I'm surprised that Musgrave hasn't taken more heat. But I'm not too quick to dump on him, seeing that the QBs last year were terrible, and Keenum is, well, Keenum. I did feel that they went too pass heavy, which was a problem the last two seasons too.
