Except that making light of the Colorado shootings as some sort of anti-Bronco rant isn't smack, it's garbage.

Why he was picked: Those big, juicy interception numbers. A rookie with seven picks? He must be playing brilliantly.

Why he is a poor pick: Because interceptions aren’t everything. And what’s more, why don’t we look at the actual picks themselves? There is a big difference between the ball being thrown to you, and actually making a play on the ball. We can’t ignore the fact that Peters has been beat for seven touchdowns this year (fourth-worst in the league) and allowed more yards into his coverage (902) than every NFL corner except Pittsburgh’s Antwon Blake.

Not to mention all the weak tacking efforts he has had SINCE THE BYE, going for strips and letting WR's pick up mega yards and the PF's for getting pissed about being beaten and sat for a time after.

He isn't a bust, not the best either.

Rookie 2nd team all pro corner.

Before the bye Peters was allowing 60.7 percent of passes thrown into his coverage to be completed, for a passer rating of 101.7, but since the bye he is allowing just 41.4 percent for a passer rating of 25.7.

All seven touchdowns that he has allowed this season came before the bye week, meaning that he hasn’t surrendered a score over the second half of the season, and yet over that same span he has five of his eight interceptions.

Since that bye Peters has the second-lowest completion percentage into his coverage in the NFL, and the second-lowest passer rating allowed among corners, and when all of his coverage numbers are put together might have been statistically the league’s most impressive cover corner over that time, not just the best rookie.

Houstons receivers had a damn good day on Peters.

Playing better after the break could be related to Playing very little high level competition.

When the F will you realize that has something to do with the position your team is in

or do you live in an alternate reality. ?

Some of that could be due to the teams they played or QB's.

Rivers, Carr x2.
Tyrod.
Landry Jones.
Manziel.
Clausen.
Gimpy Peyton.
Stafford before Det changed OC's.

Peters doesn't play on the slot receiver in the nickel much. He is pretty much exclusively matched up on #1 and #2 receivers. Unlike Chris Harris.

Guys we've faced during that stretch

Antonio Brown
Martavius Bryant
Calvin Johnson
Demetrius Thomas
Emmanuel Sanders
Amari Cooper
Michael Crabtree
Travis Benjamin

That's just a quick list without looking.

Go back to your BBQ, cant burn the meat. You cannot spend all day on an opposing teams board when its the biggest day for chiefs fans in 20 years. Its really sad.

What a gift, congrats I guess, your season is now complete after that Yawnfest. You can now die saying you have seen a kFc playoff win, even if it was against a team from the worst division with a worse record that you had to travel to.

2 bad teams playing bad football. I sure hope we get you guys next week. Took 2 drives extended by PF's before your O scored TDs despite Hoyer giving you the ball all day.

I bet the ratings took a major hit on that stinker.

Peters allowed 8 TD's or so this season and about 1,000 yards.

Are his picks impressive? Yes.

Is he impressive?

Is he Jesus Christ like BossQueef thinks he is? Nope.
