Somewhere, Hollywood people are already waiting to pounce on this for a movie. If they all make it out, it will be miraculous, and the feel-good story of the year.

He will have lots of questions to answer for, for sure.

White cast most likely.

They will probably base it off the story, but move the setting to someplace in the United States. It would provide more cultural context for the people watching the film, and provide some anonymity to the kids that were involved.

Making a movie, trying to base everything off the cultures of Thailand would be challenging.

Of course. Some don't understand it is to appeal to a mass audience.

cant imagine for some kids.
I did basic diving when I was younger. Never went deeper than 40-60 feet and even that was tiring.

Except they will change it a bit. One of the characters will have to be transgendered or gay.

Don't see how the two are mutually exclusive. Seems he made a series of questionable decisions which lead to the current predicament. Too early for finger pointing, but assuming all the boys and their coach are rescued, he's going to have some hard questions to answer.

I know a lot of morons that have PhDs, one couldn't light his own pilot light on his waterheater. Brilliant mathematician, very dumb in practical things.

As far as cave exploration/looking at warning signs goes, this guy was a moron.

The guy was not a moron, I guess people with limited vocabulary might not have another word.

Anyway he was doing a team building exercise and well, they all passed!!!

Being a Buddhist monk hardly prevents a person from being a moron.

That's exactly how. In fact they knew where to look based on the estimated driest area of the cave.

Yes, but apparently you are not a former Buddhist Monk. I've been told this makes a difference.

The doctor said three of the boys were being treated for minor cases of pneumonia, but predicted most would be discharged after about a week.
So they were going to start dying regardless of air and food. You can't just "kick" pneumonia in a dark, wet cave. It's really a fascinating look at all the elements that make up health. Much of health is basic hygiene needs, warmth and staying dry. Secondary infections that spread in refugee camps and MASH units have historically done more damage than actual violence or displacement.
