This is trap game if we're not careful. A desperate Giants team that is being ripped apart by the New York media. They are saying we're going to win by thirty points. That kind of talk freaks me out. Especially teams with scrappy players like the Giants.

On paper it looks unwinnable. They can't run for ****, our run defense is disgusting. They're throwing a lot to garbage at receiver and our pass rush, while not what it was, should love that. Their run defense is bad and our rushing offense is top notch. Their scoring defense should avail us of our redzone woes.

On paper it's difficult to see a scenario where the Giants can win. Not to mention we're coming off a bye at home and we're almost invisible in those scenarios.

Hopefully the added time brings back a refreshed team that's focused and not a lethargic one expecting an easy victory.

Actually all that needs to happen for Denver to lose is a few interceptions a fumble and Manning to have one of his better games. In 2012 he had 512 yards a 3 TDs if he somehow threw for that and NYG had a few turnovers go there way it could be bad for us probably won't happen though.

34-9.

I am not playing the game so I can be as cocky as I want. It should be a bloodbath not because they suck but because they suck and just lost all of their wide receivers and we are the best at stopping the run.

Easy win and seamaniainain tosses a pick a TD and fumbles as he usually does. The D will go off, the line will support him, the running game will be stellar. He'll be anointed again as Joe Montana. And guess what...

I don't remember saying there are no trap games. I do remember saying Buffalo wasn't a trap game. It was too early in the season to call it that. We still need to see how the season plays out, but your first road game isn't a trap game.

Trap game for me is a game you overlook because you expect it to be easy or are looking at the game afterwards because it's more important. Buffalo isn't a bad team, and we wouldn't overlook our first round game. I don't believe the Broncos did that in Buffalo. I think our mistakes caught up to us and Buffalo beat us. That was our first road game and one where we were traveling East and playing in a tough environment. We didn't know if Buffalo was good or bad yet.

If Eli even goes over 300 yards with the crew of practice squad players he has to throw to then the NFZ is a fraud.

Listening to polumbus on 760 and they interviewed sanders polumbus made sure to ask him about not looking past the giantz and Sanders said the team has addressed that topic .

I'm not sure I agree such a shift is a "demotion." In this post-Welker era, slot receivers can and often are far more dangerous than wide WRs. For example, Broncos often line up Pro-Bowler Emmanuel Sanders in the slot, and assign All-Pro Chris Harris to slot-coverage.
It was first something like "damn" but went down hill from there.

what, they haven't proven enough to you after all these years? haha Was that super bowl win they anchored a fraud?

Move the goal posts enough, everyone's a failure. It's like when people say we've "wasted" a historically good defense but conveniently forget that we actually won a super bowl with it already.

One bad game would trump multiple seasons of dominance?

Lol, my point was that a 300+ yard passing performance from Eli is unlikely when he's missing his top 2, and 3 of his top 4, receiving threats based on yards this season, against a defense that has allowed an average of 218 yards passing, and a high of 238, this season. The only way he should get close to that mark is if the Broncos go up big and he gets a bunch of yards in garbage time. Don't misinterpret what I said.

I can't look at it that way. While talent level is certainly a factor, they also got lost their biggest attitude problem on offense and the dudes that are just collecting a paycheck IMO.

He's just saying they should be ashamed of themselves if they let Eli go off with this motley crew of receivers.

I said it before and I say it again. This will be the game where it all comes together for the Broncos. We got humiliated by buffalo, then turned around and beat the Faiders. Had a Bye week to study the Gmen. It all just adds up.

At Broncos Wednesday cornerback Aqib Talib, running back Jamaal Charles and nose tackle Domata Peko look to be getting rest days. Wide receiver Cody Latimer (knee) is also not practicing.
