Author says Broncos one to keep an eye on, but not based on any actual reporting, just their own rumor.

I've seen enough in Pre-season to know 3 things.

If Case goes down we have someone that can play and learn
If Case goes down we are screwed anyway
Thus, there is no effing reason to waste a roster spot of a 3rd QB, again.

Yep...Paxtoon Lynch is a career killer.

Why does everyone assume the worst case scenario. Out for the season. There are other scenarios just look at Philly (2017) and Oak (2016)

Worked well for Philly and not so well for Oak in 2016. Tenn missed the playoffs by one game in 2016 . Marriota broke his leg the same day Carr did.

Bringing in Bridgewater would be monumentally stupid and completely unfair to both him and Keenum

Same. We donít need Elway screwing this up by adding another guy. Kelly has the talent to trial by fire if necessary

What if Lynch was part of the trade? Gets him off the team, and we get a great insurance policy. If Kelly is that good, then he should be beating out any and all competition anyway right?

Bridgewater wants to start, and heís be too expensive as a backup. Itís thankfully not gonna happen

Lynch is going to get cut, nobody will trade anything of value for him

It'd be close, but the Watson IR/cut only adds about $1m to our cap. I don't think we have the space either way. We're sitting at just over $8m free right now and we tend to keep $5+ in roll over.

If they bring in Bridgewater, he might as well start. Thatís a ďdoubtingĒ Keenum move. When healthy Teddy is a starter not a back up.

This FO canít believe in their own decisions.

Not all 31 starting QBs in this league better than him.

He can start on a team if healthy.

Well letís hope not. I donít want to see a 6M back up when Kelly can at a minimal rate.

This Watson thing is interesting though. Thatís why I asked if he will count on the cap if IRed. Thatís moving money to Teddyís contract.

Teddy would never sign here, period. Heís not going to willingly sit behind Keenum again

It wouldnít be up to him if itís a trade. Which is what it will need to be.

Jets arenít just going to release him.

If Bridgewater makes it known that he has no interest in being the No. 2 with another team, said other team may not want him. Which would keep him on the roster in New York.

Someone will have to go down in injury across the league, and then that trade works.

Or maybe they are looking at bringing in a DB. Why would it have to be a QB, with the watson move. btw teddy aint going to be coming here. We do not have to worry.
