Which is crazy, since he is a ball hawk. He should in theory be pretty heady and instinctual and yet he is not.

Got the group PM from Bowlen, will participate.

Draft turned out well, all 10 draft selections remain on 53 man rosters, two on IR. Out of my UDFA's, 5 made 53 man rosters, 4 more made practice squads.

So, roughly 20 guys on NFL rosters to some extent. I'll take it.

DRAFT
1(21) OT Ereck Flowers - Giants 53 Man Roster (1st String LT)
2(39) OT Jake Fisher - Bengals 53 Man Roster (2nd String LT)
3(99) WR Tyler Lockett - Seahawks 53 Man Roster (2nd String WR/1st String KR/PR)
4(120) TE Jesse James - Steelers 53 Man Roster (3rd String TE)
4(135) RB Buck Allen - Ravens 53 Man Roster (3rd String RB)
6(197) LB Martrell Spaight - Redskins 53 Man Roster (3rd String ILB)
7(238) CB Quandre Diggs - Lions 53 Man Roster (2nd String slot CB)
7(250) WR Dres Anderson - 49ers Injured Reserve
7(251) CB Darryl Roberts - Patriots Injured Reserve (Strong camp)
7(252) OG Jamon Brown - Rams 53 Man Roster (1st String LG)

UDFAs
WR DeAndrew White - 49ers 53 Man Roster (2nd String WR)
TE Geoff Swaim - Cowboys 53 Man Roster (2nd String TE)
DT Angelo Blackson - Titans 53 Man Roster (3rd String 5 Tech DE)
DT Darius Kilgo - Broncos 53 Man Roster (2nd String NT)
OLB Deiontrez Mount - Titans 53 Man Roster (2nd String OLB)
TE Casey Pierce - Lions Practice Squad
OG Kaleb Johnson - Ravens Practice Squad
OG Cyril Lemon - Saints Practice Squad
DE B.J. Dubose - Vikings Practice Squad
WR DeAndre Carter - Released by Ravens 9/1
OT Mickey Baucas - Retired from Dolphins 7/23 (back)
OC Valerian Ume-Ezeoke - Released by Falcons 9/1
S Josh Furman - Released by Broncos 9/5
CB Jonathan Mincy - Released by Falcons 9/1
CB Garry Peters - Released by Panthers 7/30
S Brian Suite - Released by Lions 9/5

Feel like the only blemishes are the two guys that didn't make it to final cuts, Baucas for retiring, and Peters whom was released in July. Otherwise, draft picks are on the teams that drafted them, and the UDFAs had quite a few gems.

Other thoughts:

1) Still mad Mediator snagged Bryce Callahan in UDFA, I think he's going to be a stud. Happy to see he made the Bears after a great preseason.

2) Still expect Darryl Roberts to be the steal of this draft, both in game and in RL. Might take three years. He was the talk of Pats camp until he dislocated his wrist while starting in preseason game 1 and went on IR.

3) No idea what is happening with Holliman. He was ok in the preseason for the Steelers, though he was buried on the depth chart. Unless there are personality/off field issues, he should resurface. But I am very surprised he's not on an NFL 53 man roster. I suspect there is something more to it. Maybe he's a world class jack ass or as stated by others, a mental midget. I still like his game though.

4) Oh...Jeff Luc....

I stated all this in the draft forum.

Tackling issues + character issues + low mental aptitude = recipe for disaster. There were a lot of quotes from player personnel people that came out before the draft that showed all of this.

Med and Mug killed it as usual.

Req and the Titans:

(2) Leonard Williams - NYJ - Starting DE
No surprise here.

(47) PJ Williams - NO - Season Ending IR (Torn Hamstring)
Was allegedly looking great in camp, but tore his hammy. Would have been nickel corner at the worst, but could have replaced Keenan Lewis outside opposite of Browner.

(57) Carl Davis - BAL - 2nd String NT
Currently backing up Brandon Williams at NT for the Ravens.

(91) Daryl Williams - CAR - 2nd String RT
Backing up Mike Remmers (WTF?) -- hopefully he starts soon.

(128) Jarvis Harrison - NYJ - 3rd String RG
He needs to get his stuff together.

(208) John Crockett - GB - Practice Squad
Didn't do nearly as good as Zenner in preseason, but should crack the 53 next year or make it this year if injuries happen.

Kyshoen Jarrett was a FA of mine, he got picked in the 6th -- 3rd FS for the Redskins.

Cody Wichmann was a Fa of mine, picked by the Rams in the 6th -- backing up Jamon Brown (rookie) at LG.

Have no idea where Alec May or Adam Shead or the rest of my UDFA's are.

Nice little showing from a couple of my Bills draft picks today

Darby with a pick and Williams scoring his 1st ever NFL touchdown and leading the Bills ground game.

His run was fantastic, kept his feet and then pushed his way through a crease and had the speed to score.

Darby won AFC Defensive rookie of the month. Karlos Williams has scored in 3 consecutive games and should get the start this weekend if McCoy doesn't shake off an injury.

Oh yeah? Well John Miller has the lowest PFF rating of any rookie guard, so...

Who took Olu? 24 champ?

http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...alue-insurance

First to take that insurance claim based on his draft value, interesting....

Boyle got the ball on two big 4th down conversions, converted 1 of 2 and had a sweet jump over a dude on third down.

Ronald Darby has allowed just 45.2% of targets to be caught. Has allowed 0 TDs, and a passer rating of 38.3. This is abnormal rookie play. It's like he's played against Peyton 5 games in a row.

So, 8/9 Drafted players are still on the active 53 on their drafted rosters. 3 UDFA's made active rosters, 2 made a PS, 2 had injuries and were let go, 1 is playing in Canada where he played college, and 1 never even got a sniff of the league.
This is still true. Great long term class for me

Terrible!

1st RD : DJ Humphries OT - Has assumed starting LT for Arizona Cardinals
3rd RD : Nelson Aghoular WR - Starting WR for Eagles who has been sneaky productive and good at finding end zone.
3rd RD : Marcus Hardison DT - Signed with SD after getting waived. Probably will wash out soon.
4th RD : Lynden Trail OLB/DE - Has been on 5 teams, including canada now. lol
5th RD : Doran Grant CB - 5 teams... this is getting bad.
5th RD : Justin Coleman CB - 5 teams...
5th RD : Laurence Gibson OT - 8 TEAMS!
5th RD : Matt Jones HB - In process of washing out of league... fumbling! Injured!
7th RD : Tyler Varga FB - Retired.

DRAFT

1(21) OT Ereck Flowers - Giants
- Has pretty much been a disaster at LT, moving to RT for this season, which many draft pundits thought would be his best position. Make or break year.

2(39) OT Jake Fisher - Bengals
- This pick actually happened. Has dealt with injuries (irregular heartbeat), and spent time at both OT and OG. Has outplayed their 1st round OT Ogbuhi from the same draft and is the starting RT.

3(99) WR Tyler Lockett - Seahawks
- Recently signed a big extension. Electric #2 WR type and return specialist. Has dealt with some injuries.

4(120) TE Jesse James - Steelers
- Starting TE the last two years. Red zone threat, and solid all-around type, but not a dynamic athlete.

4(135) RB Buck Allen - Ravens
- Rock solid 3rd down back, excellent hands. A similar but better version of Devontae Booker.

6(197) LB Martrell Spaight - Redskins
- Has been a solid backup ILB and special teams stud. Started last year due to injuries and was ok.

7(238) CB Quandre Diggs - Lions
- Has been the starting nickel, playing both CB and safety. Good production last season.

7(250) WR Dres Anderson - Cowboys
- First draft pick not to be on original team and productive. Never recovered from college knee injury, has bounced around several different practice squads.

7(251) CB Darryl Roberts - Patriots
- Pats tried to stash him on IR his rookie year but Jets claimed him and he's been there since and acts as their Dime CB. Solid for a 7th Round pick, but not the big time steal I thought when I nabbed him.

7(252) OG Jamon Brown - Rams
- Starting RG. Has been good, not great. Big time steal in our game. Went in the 3rd round in the real draft.

So, 8 of 10 are still on original team and either starting or productive. 1 of the remaining 2 has been at least useful for another team. And the other has bounced around various Practice Squads.

UDFAs
WR DeAndrew White - Broncos (Bounced around, camp fodder)
TE Geoff Swaim - Cowboys (Primary blocking TE)
DT Angelo Blackson - Texans (4th Round bust for Titans)
DT Darius Kilgo - Texans (Early hype for Broncos, bounced around league)
OLB Deiontrez Mount - Broncos (On IR for 2018, achilles, bounced around league)
TE Casey Pierce - Out of the League
OG Kaleb Johnson - Vikings (Scrub, bounced around the league)
OG Cyril Lemon - Out of the League
DE B.J. Dubose - 6th Round bust by Vikings, out of league
WR DeAndre Carter - Eagles (likely just camp fodder)
OT Mickey Baucas - Retired from Dolphins 7/23/15 (back)
OC Valerian Ume-Ezeoke - Out of the League
S Josh Furman - Out of the League
CB Jonathan Mincy - Bears (Likely camp body, some success in CFL)
CB Garry Peters - Out of the League
S Brian Suite - Out of the League

The UDFAs were mostly duds.

1-32 Owamagbe Odighizuwa DE - (Out of the league)
2-52 Ronald Darby CB - (Starting CB Philadelphia)
4-101 Shaq Mason OL - (Starting OL New England)
4-126 James Sample DB - (Out of the league)
4-132 Jordan Hicks LB - (Starting MLB Philadelphia)
5-143 Jamison Crowder WR - (Starting WR Washington)
5-162 Tyeler Davison DL - (Starting NT New Orleans)
6-178 Antoine Everett OL - (Out of the league)
6-192 Bobby Richardson DL - (Out of the league)
6-203 Karlos Williams RB - (Out of the league)
7-219 Bobby McCain CB - (Starting CB Miami)
7-230 Frank Clark DE - (Starting DE Seattle)
7-246 Deandre Smelter WR - (4th string WR Jacksonville)
7-253 Sean Hickey OT - (Out of the League)

8 draft picks still in the league and 7 of them starters, (4 selected from the 5th-7th rounds)

UDFA - 5 UDFA's are on current rosters

Darius Philon DL - San Diego Back-up DT
Imoan Claiborne CB - Not in the league
Troy Hill CB - LA Rams 3rd string CB
Corey Grant RB - Jacksonville 3rd string RB
Gavin Lutman WR - Not in the league
Bobby Hart OT - Starting OT Cincinnati
John Timu LB - Chicago Back-up MLB
Kyle Brindza K - Not in the league

So in summary, Patriots selected 26 players through the draft and UDFA.

13 are on current NFL rosters and 8 are starters

Been a while, but figured I would chime in. Here is the mess called my 2015 draft update. My draft team was the Miami Dolphins:

1-14(14): Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State: Starting CB Minn

2-28(60) Paul Dawson, LB, TCU: After 2 lack luster seasons with the Bengals, he was cut and signed by the Seahawks practice squad and promoted to their active roster (2017)waived may 2018

4-01(100) Rashad Greene, WR, FSU: Jacksonville Jaguars, #2 punt returner and a number 5/6 WR, pretty much an extra body.

4-05(104) Josue Matias, OG, FSU: Matias signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent following the 2015 draft. He was waived on September 5, 2015 and was signed to the practice squad the next day, where he spent his entire rookie season.
On August 17, 2016, Matias was waived/injured by the Titans after suffering a torn patellar tendon and was placed on injured reserve.
On September 2, 2017, Matias was waived by the Titans
Currently on the Ottawa Redblacks CFL

5-13(149): Cameron Artis-Payne, RB, Auburn: 5th round pick by the Carolina Panthers. Career total of 99 carries for 422 yards and 4 TD’s. Still on the active roster behind Christian McCaffrey and CJ Anderson.

5-14(150): Durrell Eskridge, S, Syracuse: Unsigned free agent of the Jets and was cut. Picked up by the Cardinals and placed on their practice squad and moved to their active roster in December 2015. On August 15, 2016, Eskridge was waived/injured by the Cardinals and was placed on injured reserve. He was released from injured reserve on October 24, 2016. Currently playing in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts

So the tally is:
3 players in the NFL
2 players in the CFL
1 player out of the NFL.
