If Paxton Lynch suddenly becomes a camp champ, I'm going to weep like a little girl.

I don't get the desire for Paxton to fail. Yes he was drafted high, and he comes across as a total dweeb (that's being polite). But I for one would be encouraged if the kid actually improved. Honestly he's failed the eye test time after time, and it's actually painful to watch him play. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool if he did improve. Why is it so hard to just hope for whats best for the Broncos.

Mad Chad Kelly sounds like he's tearing it up though.

Randall Cunningham off the street at age 55 is a better option at QB than Paxton Lynch.

Think we can ink Dan Marino to a vet minimum?

I'm not really rooting for the kid to fail. But having another fool's gold controversy emerge this preseason would just be the worst.

Unless Lynch is going to improve to franchise QB level I want him to fail. I donít want any gray area on the matter. Make it big or gtfo.

Lynch has started a grand total of FOUR GAMES.

This is one of the dumber fan bases in the NFL, of that I have no doubt. As much as I hate Cowboy fans down here, they're light years more informed about the game than Denver fans are.

People in here are literally rooting for this guy to be a bust simply so they can say they were right. But go back and take a look at how many of these same silly bandwagon jumpers were singing his praises on the day he was drafted, because the delusions plaguing every discussion of this topic began right there, when this FO gave this dumbass fan base the idea this guy could compete to start immediately. Over and over this has been stated clearly, and it's almost NEVER responded to.

FOUR GAMES...

Never understood that from the start. Draft day it was like, oh he's a project but could be really good in a few years. All the sudden he was the biggest bust since Leaf or something.

Not dumb, just spoiled...mostly.

Also it's an online forum, usually those will be filled with the most passionate fans. Passion rarely includes patience.

Meh, it's a (short) article based on one throw, which was already posted in this thread.

Whenever I get too hyped about Swag I just go over the list of previous Mr Irrelevants. Not saying I don't want him to buck the trend, but man it's a long shot.

I don't think Keenum throwing picks against what will almost certainly be a top 5 offense.. maybe a top 3 offense, is quite the same as Lynch throwing against people that are backups. will be on practice squad or released from the team.

Put Lynch against the 1s.. I think he'd look a bit different.

Youíre right, it really is hard to throw against a good offense...
