Props to Detroit DH Victor Martinez for driving in career RBI 1,000 the other night.

Jordan Zimmermann is off to a 4-0 start with an ERA of 0.35. Today was the first game that he allowed an earned run this season.

Miggy got his bat going tonight....4-4 with a double, 2 HRs, and 4 RBIs.

The Tigers still need to more consistent game in and game out....it seems like they go through the motions a lot of games.

Rockies manager Walt Weiss doesn't think much of Buster Olney's and Patrick Saunders' idea to use a four-man outfield at Coors Field when the Rockies face extreme fly ball hitters like Chris Davis.

quoting the sporting news:

" Would Trump be running for president right now if he were sitting in spring training, eating hot dogs and watching his Indians?"

My response:
why not? it worked for BUSH !

" Would people mock his hair style if it were covered with an Indians ballcap?"

He might be mistaken for Penny Marshall, imagine that !

I really wish that ball/strike calls were taken out of the hands of umpires. It's absurd that with available technology hitters and pitchers have to adjust game to game - even inning to inning - to some ego driven umpire's strike zone du jour.

Matt Harvey must have got into some kryptonite too. His fastball has been off by 5 mph all season, his stuff isn't as good, and he can't het thru 5 innings without the wheels falling off.

Tyler Chatwood pitched 8 shutout innings today on the way to his 4th win. He is pitching very well.

Angels shouldn't have let him go as Shoemaker got sent down to the minors...again.

I went to watch the Rockies at Petco Park today and the stadium is awesome. I am only a little more than an hour away but never went before today. Chatwood's determination to slide for that foul ball by the dugout was gutsy and wanted that win bad as it was only 1-0 at that point.

And then they follow it up by wasting a great outing from Tanaka. Gonna be a long year. Can't hit for ***t.

We are awesome on the road (12-4) and suck at home (5-7).

The tech is already in place. Humans should no longer be calling balls and strikes. Tonight's game in ny was an absolute atrocity.
