"Home of the 12th Man" removed from Seattle's CenturyLink Field

Good news, Ags: Texas A&M is now the one and only "Home of the 12th Man." Acccording to King 5's Chris Daniels, Seattle removed the phrase from CenturyLink Field on Friday:

A lot less expensive than having to pay Texas A&M for use of the 12th man phrase.

That is about how many people were in attendance Friday night.

The minute Wilson threw that interception they all busted out their alternate 49ers jerseys. That bandwagon is a lot lighter

You're really surprised? Teams don't let their franchise QBs leave, and franchise QBs don't turn down big contract offers.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Other than Peyton/Luck type situations, franchise QB's rarely hit the market.

there were extenuating circumstances. it looks like the Sparklers are moving to LA. and Rivers is not a big city kind of guy according to the statements he's made in the past, so he might have been tempted to take an offer with another team that's not going to be the zoo that playing in LA will be. CA state income taxes are also really high. going to a team in FL or TX would have saved him quite a bit in taxes. there were reasons for him to go, so it wasn't a done deal.

Indeed. Though he started well, he began to fall into old habits, and then ran in a touchdown. It could go either way, but it depends on how they want to use him. It'd be interesting to see how he does when playing on 1st string vs 1string. That would be a different picture I think. I wish him only well.

Chip + New extra point rule

He'll make the team, and make plays. And I, for one, hope he dominates.
