I heard Shanny say he's done coaching.

He is cheap which is number 1 priority. First question was what kind of salary you looking for.

He would fit right in at dinners with Elway. They both can put a lot of booze down.

Maybe Dave Toub should have been more seriously considered.

I do believe both coordinators will be gone though. Woods & McCoy run some basic ish, and they can't adjust their game plan to what the opposing team is doing. Both coordinators out
What makes Denver more attractive than some of the other cities or teams?

Wouldnt that require KC to ok it, since it would have been a lateral coaching move?

*edit* nevermind. Its been a very long day and you meant as HC. Der.

I see reading comprehension isn't your strong point.

This was in response to posters who DON'T want a first time HC.

I was stating that just because a coach failed elsewhere, that doesn't mean he'll have success his second time around.

In other words, I don't want a failed HC.

Glad I could clear that up for you. Maybe next time I'll use smaller words.

Thought I heard somewhere saying this is Sean Payton last year. If so, bring him in. I know cheap Elway wont do it, but he is one hell of a coach.

If not

Shanahan
Kubs
Wade

Edit: never mind... just saw he signed a 5yr extension

Yeah, you would think that requirement would be somewhere on the list.

But hey, they hired a leader of men who can run the best damn practice this side of the county.

What if they're a horrible coach and coordinator? I think Mike McCoy might be our only option - just don't see what talented coach would want the reins of thisbdumpster fire. McCoy might be able to settle things down at least

This is the place where Baja would have added that he had Shanahan down on his boat, enjoying a sandwich, and Shanny said this and that, etc.

Remember when people were quick to defend him in Miami? Good times.

One Phins fan I know said he was glad the Broncos took away VaJ.

The other Phins fan I know jumped ship to the Skins in 2007 after Miami went 1-15.

That helped in negotiations. John said "Good for you bud, that 29th ranked Defense for a with us well. How about we pay you the 29th ranked salary? I'll pitch it as the leader of men tour."

Yea I remember them saying he was a leader of men and he did the best anyone could do with that sorry Phins D. They completely ignored the fact Vance led the D to the statistically worse season in their franchise history, despite only playing against 2 top 10 ranked QB's - Brady and Mariotta.
