ME:A will be cool and all but.....man......showing that the first 13 minutes of a game includes no action.......is a tough pill to swallow

Hopefully you can skip all that exposition stuff

The Division burned me a little, so I am holding off on Clancy games until I see how that one pans out over the next couple months. I used to never miss a Clancy title, but man...now. Although Siege is a lot of fun.

Bioware is exposition heavy in nearly every game they do. That's part of their formula.

Just go pick up Last of Us Remastered now. Picked it up from GameStop for about $20 about a month ago. I finished it in about 2 weeks. Not easy to do with 4 kids running around! Story kept me hooked. At times I just couldn't put it down. I never played the PS3 version, having waited until it was ported over to PS4. Left behind is decent addition that's free with it as well.

Finished all 3 ME games as well and looking forward to Andromeda, but don't know how I'll find the time to play it ...

HZD is ****ing awesome. I can't get over how smooth and fluid everything is. I haven't finished the Witcher 3 but this feels like a better game to me.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is out there if anyone was into Planescape: Torment back in the day, one of my favorite games of all time.

I'd recommend both if possible. I've heard amazing things about HZD, and the last of us is just intense.

Re: HZD....

It seems like the only weapons you have are a bow/arrow and whip. Is that true?

Seems like it would be fun with more weapon variety?

Sort of but there are other weapons and you can mod them, but they are all primitive. The weapons for me anyway aren't even close to an issue.

Yeah I missed the boat the first time around. Decided to pick it up yesterday. Only a few hours in but loving it so far. Graphics are pretty slick for a PS3 port. Clickers are kicking my ass. I need to get a little more used to the controls I think.

So far GR Wildlands is pretty fun should be more entertaining playing with a friend. Its like a GTA/Division/far cry type of game. Lots of fun things to do like driving a large truck off a cliff with the AI following and run the AI over with many types of vehicles. The map is really large too and for no reason I shot an armadillo yesterday crossing the road (far cry mode moment).

Will get Mass effect Andromeda as well. Always been a great game. Hope they expand the map as in the past the only thing I hated about the game is it felt short.

ME 2 was probably the longest game I can remember it was huge. (But again these are things I tell my wife)

A game that takes 35-40 hours to complete felt short to you?

To answer his doubts, initially they said "One planet in Andromeda is bigger than Dragon Age: Inquisition as a whole." They've since retracted that to be about 2/3 of DA:I per planet, but I think we're getting 5 -entire- planets to start? Maybe more with DLC, along with all the subquests that are just a few platforms.

I feel like I'll be sinking hundreds of hours into this game, especially with "Multiplayer being a focus." As 3 was -almost- a really fun multiplayer experience.
