Let it play out, with even halfway decent qb play we have an all pro and pro bowl wr, drafted one of the top te last season, and have a super deep Rb draft right in front of us.

The talent should be there, you are right to question the coaching until proven otherwise.

The coaches suck, but there is no way Elway will stand around and watch this pass rush bunch not destroy QBs.. The coaches will be gone, too much talent to not be laying havoc...

They consciously took a lesser player with that 4 pick.. wards a fabulous player, no doubt, but you donít pass on Chubb. Ooh, have to think they regret it just a bit tonight...

If you like this pick, then no one should complain but you've been a little more positive lately.

Yep, and yet there were how many RB that had more yards? Minnesota's RB was 20th in yards. CJ was 9th. Denver's best TE was 49th. They needed offensive upgrades.

I love Baker but #1 overall is risky.

Denzel Ward is really ****ing good but they could easily get Oliver or Hughes with one of their 2nds.

Or just gone Chubb.

And the number one rusher was a rookie selected in the 3rd round.

Drinking an Old Chub right now in homage...

That said, I do wonder about Nelson. Obviously pass rusher is more important,, but it seems like Chubb is one of the worst "best pash rusher in the draft"s in a while. He's like the 2016 Patriots of pass rushers.

Meanwhile Nelson is the opposite. So you could possibly get a Chubb at #12-20 most years (same idea with Ward), as he's not on the level of a Garrett or Bosa.

And less importantly, is Chubb - Ray - Barrett > Nelson - McGovern?

Seems like the best players in order were Barkley, Nelson, and Chubb, in that order. RB is pretty useless though, especially when you just cut a top 5 one. But G I'm not so sure.

Just glad they passed on Mount Andy Daltonmore though.

Let's replace CJ with a 3rd round pick. Instead of picking up an offensive lineman in a deep draft. Why are we duplicating talent and spending picks to replace players we already had?

They needed talent and got it. But yeah. Lets stress about the difficulty of replacing a back that took 5 years to barely crack 1000 yards.

Because they are better, younger, and cheaper?

Yeah, and how many carries did Jamaal Charles get. The running game was abandoned early and often. But it's all the RB's fault. And how many RB's cracked 1000 last year? Less than 10. Great stat.

Once/if the NFL steps into the 21st century, I feel like the numbers will show CJ as anywhere from 1-5 in the league.

Elite at everything except HR speed, and I feel like the Marshall Faulk ball control is hugely underrated. I mean Charles probably had more fumbles last year than CJ in his career.

Even Barkley is probably 50/50 of being better than CJ.
