It the dead time of little Broncos news until training camp so scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

Was curious to find out what King's stats in Denver were. Since he has been in the league he has punted 39 times in Denver for a Gross Avg of 50.02, Net Avg 43.97, and pinned the Broncos inside their twenty 19 times.

His career net avg is 41.1. King always seemed to play his best games at Mile High. His net avg always seems to be 2-3 yards higher then the rest of his season when you pull his stats.

Gee, if only there was a particular reason why he does better in Denver than anywhere else?

It will be nice to finally have a punter actually take advantage of Denver on a consistent basis. King is going to be able to flip field position multiple times during the game. Lends to the strategy of being a run-oriented team with strong defense. Might lead to some boring games though.

Marquette King was so bad this past Sunday that VJ called him out and then the Broncos signed a punter to the practice squad.

If you don't have a good punter when Case 3andout Keenum is your qb, you're gonna have a bad time

How is this possible. King was touted as one of the best punters in the league. In pre-season he was amazing. What is it with the Broncos and punters.

I just don't get it

We heard how he was launching punts in training camp, and landing many of them inside the five yard line. How many has he landed inside the five, or even 10 yard line in the first few weeks of the season?

He wasn't noticeably terrible until this week. I'd rather they spend the energy on Mahomes film. See what happens. Our punter isn't going to win or lose this one.

Well, when it comes to keeping the ball away from Tyreek Hill it actually might!

Everyone on this team trying too hard to make big plays. Just get back to fundamentals and do your job.

Someone should make Accountability t-shirts and hand them out to the team.

Nobody is saying that every coach and front office executive is working on the punter position.

The problem is our coach is still using fundamentals and it don't look like things are going to change anytime soon.

I was at training camp. King was regularly kicking 75 yards in coffin corners. DMac happened. That's it.

King is fine. He was clearly hungover in Baltimore.

Honestly, even in preseason games King wasn't living up to his hype.

He was worth it just for the chucky video, if nothing else.
