1 was damn near a freebie because the OT didn't hear the snap (Arrowhead was rockin) and Ford got a quick one.

The other 2 were impressive.

He also dove and broke up the pass to woodhead in the end zone as time expired to seal the win.

If Mack didn't ruin the Broncos, Dee Ford would have been the defensive player of the week.

He still has trouble with the run, but he at least seems to be able to set the edge like a pro now. Needs to be a lot more physical...but once he improves as a run defender, we're gonna have a nasty set of pass rushers.

I'd love to see Ford try to pay Freeney to work with him this upcoming offseason and try to develop a spin move. His first step is as good as anybody I've seen...if he can develop a nasty spin, he's gonna be a monster.

Justin Houston visiting Dr. Andrews about his knee. Rumor is he might miss the rest of the regular season.

Not good.

One hopeful note, though, is the play of outside linebacker Dee Ford, who piled up three sacks, seven tackles and a pass breakup in Sunday's smothering win over the San Diego Chargers. Ford will be counted on to repeat those heroics deep into December -- and maybe beyond.

while you have attended playoff games since that time, you have never won a playoff game since. Congrats.

also, at least you aren't #1, you are #3, after Detroit and the Bengals

But 3 things are for certain, as of now.
Death, Taxes and the Chiefs choking in the playoffs:

Quote:
3. Kansas City Chiefs
Last playoff victory: January 16, 1994 (1993 divisional round against Houston Oilers)
Days since last playoff victory (as of July 15): 7,850 days

Yes, three teams have it worse than the Browns. You know it has been a long time between franchise playoff victories when the last one came against a now-defunct team. True enough, the Oilers became the Titans after moving to Tennessee, but that Chiefs win came in the Astrodome (which now looks like this, for those who wonder) in a shootout between future Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Warren Moon, featuring a 31-point fourth quarter explosion. The Chiefs would lose in the AFC title game the following week, and you could argue they've had it as bad as any NFL team since: eight straight playoff losses, with four of them at Arrowhead Stadium.
Worse than the Browns

Just saw that, looks like Loss's Trolling paid off Karma wise.

Finally a realistic article by a non-kFc fan writer

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...regular-season

Kansas City's magic carpet ride toward the postseason just hit a wave of turbulent air.

NFL Media's Rand Getlin reported Wednesday that Justin Houston is visiting noted surgeon Dr. James Andrews for an examination of the pass rusher's banged-up knee. According to a source briefed on the injury, there is fear inside the building that the sack master could miss the rest of the regular season.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport first reported earlier this month that Houston suffered a sprained PCL in a Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. He hasn't played since.

Houston has notched 7.5 sacks this season after tearing up the league with an NFL-best 22 sacks in 2014. His takedown totals are down, but losing Houston would equate to a massive blow for a rugged Chiefs defense playing as well as any unit in the AFC.

It's uncertain if Houston would be healthy enough for the playoffs if Kansas City gets that far.
What is certain is that the Chiefs are not the same team without their most dominant defender.

Still waiting to hear if those were Rivers running into him or coverage or really great plays by Ford.

One he was unblocked the other was a coverage sack.

Chiefs are on a nice winning streak that gives them reason to crow. let's look at their wins:

10/25, home vs Pittsburgh: No Roethlesburger, no Vick, no Gradkowski. Landry Jones threw two picks in his first career start as the steelers weren't able to generate anything. This continues the historical trend of KC feasting on back-up QB's making their first start.

11/1, home vs Detroit: KC killed a 1-6 Lions team. Yawn.

11/15, in Denver: we all know what happened here. Manning was quite obviously playing hurt, turning in the worst performance of his career (and possibly the worst in the past 30 years).

11/22, in SD: KC killed a 2-7 team, missing a ton of weapons. Yawn.

11/29, home vs Buffalo - here is KC's lone quality win. The Bills were 5-5 coming into this game, so kudos to them for beating an average team at home, I guess.

12/06, in oakland: KC beat up on a 5-6 raider team. raiders were actually in position to win before Carr went all "raider QB" and threw three picks in the 4th quarter.

12/13, home vs SD: KC managed to light up a 3-9 Charger team for a whole 10 points. Pretty exciting, huh?

That's it. The highlights of the Chiefs win streak are a legendary QB having a historically bad game, a 1 score game vs a 0.500 team at home, and beating up on a bunch of never-were's.

The rest of their schedule doesn't toughen up either, so I expect the crowing to continue.

What this spells, my friends, is a paper tiger. This is a team full of false bravado, with wins over a bunch of bad opponents. This is a team with a long and storied history of playoff collapses - I don't see any reason to expect anything different.

unfortunately, the rest of the AFC is decidedly weak too, so it's entirely possible that KC's road to playoff success rides on back-up QB's...the best recipe for KC to win.

You won 1 good game all year at home against a Packers team that was massively struggling.

Well unless you count an incredibly beat up Pats when the Broncos got like 7 tries from first and goal and a phantom Gronk penalty in a snow storm where their 20th bavkup at WR coughed up a punt in the snow to keep you in the game.
And next week you get to play AJ McCarron! Congrats!

You don't think New England was a quality win? A healthy Ravens team was a quality win. I'm sure you call the Chicago KC loss a quality loss since they were starting scrub WRS too.

We just got done coughing up a punt that even kept you in this division race.

Are you saying that doesn't count?

Oh, and the Vikings are pretty much a playoff lock. How much did you beat them by? I'm drawing a blank.
