Default This is a team that is poorly coached.

Feels exactly like last year. Nothing is different except the other teams go better. Keenum is an upgrade, but not major enough to make a substantive difference. It really comes down to coaching at this point. We have some better player, but they aren't playing better. In fact they're making some dumb mistakes.
  • Bad penalties at critical times especially during big moments.
  • Starting players punching other players getting ejected
  • Stupid challenges and stupid timeouts that hurt the team and made things worse.
  • Keenum holds the ball way too long and doesn't scramble enough. I realize his knee is bad, but if that's the issue, that's even more reason to dump it or throw it away.
  • We were regularly out-schemed on third down on both sides of the ball.

We're whatever the opposite of clutch is. It's like field goal range? How about a sack fumble? Goal line? How about a hold? Blocked kick returned for a TD? Let's block someone in the back for no ****ing reason.

And unfortunately with more injuries in an already depleted secondary, we're going to get lit up by the Chiefs at home on MNF for all the world to see. Not going to be a good two weeks. Jets Cards and Browns are the only sure wins I see left on a team playing like this.

Our bye week isn't until week 10, so I'm not sure they'll fire VJ until end of the year. But it already feels like more of the same.

It’s funny to recall people didn’t want Kyle Shannahan.

What scares me is having a Defense and coordinator sent down from above and dismantling it piece by piece.

The toughest odds the Broncos have to overcome are the coaches and front office.

Perna's award for big d1ck player needs to be renamed to big d1ckhead player, and warded to the entire offense, minus a couple players (Sanders and Freeman maybe).

Timeouts and challenges had no effect on outcome.

It's a confluence of bad choices. Just because in this game a specific bad choice didn't come back to haunt you doesn't mean that it wasn't a bad choice and couldn't hurt you in another circumstance.

Awesome substance-less rebuttal. I can do that too.

Today was the first time I felt that it was reasonable to push for Kelly to start.

What challenge was bad? Challenges a possible catch? Would have been the difference between 3rd and 4 and 3rd and 10.

And what timeout were you talking about?

Yet clowns on here said I was stupid for saying Baltimore was a better team especially at home and was better coached. Morons on here are like they have wink and mornhinweg and you think they are better coached? Yes it is quite well known Denver is one of the worst coached teams in the league.

I have to agree with Kaylore. Every time there was something positive (FG block, Harris TD, red zone opportunity) the team was too busy committing penalties.

The amount of times this team hurt itself with flags (13 freakin penalties), missed tackles, dropped catches, poor play recognition by Davis/Marshall, all kept gifting the game to B'more.

The Ravens won this game by not making dumb mistakes. The Broncos were too busy making their own dumb plays to put together any kind of offense.

It's hilarious to me that after Lindsay was ejected, our entire offense went to the gutter.

Vance Joseph preached accountability all training camp (with those stupid T-Shirts), and we heard how he was more in charge and tougher on players.

What a joke. Accountability isn't a t-shirt you wear, it's playing intelligent role based football.

If Joseph has any balls as a head coach or carries any respect he would start benching players like Marshall, holding Keenum's a$$ to the fire, and knocking some sense into any player that commits dumb penalties.

We're not a great team but it really is starting to feel like it's not going to get much better with VJ.

Just look at their potential records:

Anything over .500, so 5-4 or better- Not being fired
4-5- can still make the playoffs, not being fired
3-6- Maybe?
2-7- why fire him and risk winning a couple meaningless games and hurting draft stock. Let him play it out. 9-7 won't make the playoffs.

The only way VJ was getting fired is if they went 0-4 out of the gate, and that's clearly impossible now.

Thank you and thank you for the op. The reason we look better than last year, somewhat, on offense is due to some good talent. The reason we show similarities to last years entire team is the coaches, primarily VJ and Woods. Until we get rid of them we will be nothing more than an awful team or a mediocre team.

You can check with your booth guy to make sure you're not wasting time.

And Herc said it another thread, but I'm tired of seeing Radio on the sideline with this look on his face like a portal to hell has opened and demons are devouring his team and there's nothing he can do about it. He looks pathetically hopeless and I gotta think that look doesn't inspire confidence from your players.
