I like the pick, we need young talented playmakers on offense who can win one on one match ups.
This kid has a Brandon Marshall/Ashlon Jeffery type game, and he has great hands, even in traffic.
His film shows a guy taking the ball away from defenders and I like that, because it is a skill that can't be taught.

BPA, hope Elway does more of this.
Connor Williams i still available maybe they will get him in the 3rd. I doubt he will be there though.

I had Sutton as the best WR in this draft. I think he has Anquan Boldin-like potential.

Almost the exact same draft measurables as DT.

Boldin was like Marshawn Lynch playing receiver. Sutton is more like Jeffery.

Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU A Grade
Maybe I'm just in a good mood, but I think this is another steal. Courtland Sutton could've easily been chosen in the late teens or 20s. It's debatable that he might have been the best receiver in the class. If you're wondering about need, there was talk about the Broncos moving on from Demaryius Thomas this offseason. Denver will keep Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, but at least one of them could be gone after this upcoming year. Sutton should be a starter in 2019 and beyond.

Just went back and listened to reception perception again. They are super meh on Sutton. They said he had great size but is a project. He’s slow off the line and can not get desperation. He struggles against press coverage and the comp was to Laquon Treadwell.

I like this pick. Fits well for getting Keenum some additional weapons.

Big money doesn't make you a big time QB.

Elway, apparently. And the other NFL front offices that had a 1st round grade on Sutton.

Denver passed on Mike Gesicki who is taller and heavier but just as fast, with bigger hands.
