Everyone crying over how much he is getting paid. If it doesn't affect the salary cap it shouldn't matter. VJ is terrible and I would be glad to pay even an average coach 10m if it meant VJ was gone.

No one caress bout his $10 million salary if he succeeds, but he is going to fail miserably... then the raiders will just look like fools as Gruden slips off into retirement... again.

He isn’t very good. He only went to the playoffs 11 times in 13 years.

He took over a team in Tampa in 1996 that had 13 consecutive losing seasons, 12 seasons with double digit losses. He took that team to the playoffs 4 out of 6 years and left them with one of the best defenses of all time.

He took over a team in Indianapolis that went 42-42 under four years of Mora/Manning. He never missed the playoffs with them.

Dungy averaged 10.7 wins per season for 13 seasons, the best mark in NFL history, but he isn’t very good.

He averaged a 9-7 record with a loaded Tampa Bay team that lacked a QB. He then averaged a little over 12-4 with the greatest regular season QB of all-time. John Fox averaged almost 13 wins per season with the same QB. Also Dungy had a losing record in the playoffs. He was an adequate coach, not a great one.

He seems to be a man of his words. He wants to take the Raiders back to 1998 and he has definitely assembled a bunch of guys who can collect social security soon. The booze seems to be kicking his ass for aure.

Unanswered questions on Gruden's part, he doesn't have to underly Al anymore, just dominate the Kooky gruden lookalike owner. He is cooking the dinner and serving the meal.

Picking the groceries.

He built a weak team of aged vets with an O based around a dink and dunk QB and short timing passing game. They didn't have much competition in the AFC the year Oakland made it to the SB. Then Chucky exposed how weak that team was with Dungy's nasty D and another nobody QB and simple timing O then couldn't go back because he didn't have a real QB.

Carr is the best QB he has ever had but the rest of the team isn't as stocked as the Chargers or even as stocked as we are.

Our biggest issue is coaching though, I don't have a lot of faith in VJ figuring things out right away though his talent should carry him.

Kalil Mack helped the Raiders to like the 26th ranked defense last year.

Gruden got outcoached by VJ. They passed up a FG when they should have taken it.

Well, that kinda means that Gruden didn't outcoach VJ. If he would have outcoached VJ he would have taken that FG.

The Faiders didn't take the FG and Denver went for it on 4th down and got a TD.. Win for VJ.

Pretty sure you just repeated what I said. Gruden WAS OUTCOACHED by VJ. The 2 4th downs were the game. Raiders dominated the game and lost.

It's only been two games.
Too early to tell which way the broncos or the raiders are gonna go.
Relax and don't count the chickens before they cross the road.
We could've easily lost today and both teams would've been 1-1
