If NYG are intent on not taking a QB #2 then Barkley or Chubb make the most sense for them.
NYG loves pass rushers, Gettleman loves pass rushers.
Indy at #3 also makes sense as they need a blue chip defensive player.

Barkley and Chubb are the 2 pieces that can swing this draft in a whole nother stratosphere. More so than the QB's, those 2 players will determine how this draft flows. Both could go anywhere from #1-#3 and make teams scramble.

This years draft is going to be fun and yet complex to watch.
I love pass rushers. We have seen the blueprint in SB50, and I would love to see it again.

You're right. This draft will be fun to watch

Davenport is more like a Jevon Kearse or Julius Peppers type of freak.

He's NFL ready right now. Like potential Pro Bowl as a rookie ready.

Casserly is a moron, Polian level.
It's nice hearing about Davenport. I thought Casserly had gotten a Maddox type pick there but the more I hear, might be a good look. But at 5? And with Chubb available? I don't know about that.

Chubb vs Davenport is similar to the QB quandary, who do you like more?
I love Davenport, I think he's a guy who can be a top 5 pick. Passing over Chubb is a little much for me though.

The Colts just can't help themselves

Casserly is an idiot but Bill Polian is the Gene Kranz of ex-NFL GM's doing TV work. Bill may ramble a bit but he has good takes and gives you insights of what goes on behind the scenes. Casserly makes **** up and wears a wig.

No, Polian is a moron. His approach to team building and stance on 1st round picks is horrendous.

Bills have to do something, because they are in the worst position out of all 7 teams who need a QB.

They put themselves in said position though. They shipped out and allowed every offensive weapon outside of McCoy to leave, barely replaced them and then put the blame on Tyrod only to then have to circle back to him because the QB they drafted is ****.

We than have our right tackle to pair with Bolles and 21,22 and 40 to get impact players and 2 3rds and 3 4ths to load up or to trade up.

Give me Davenport DE/OLB, Edmunds or Smith at ILB, Hernandez or Wynn at Guard, Jones or Michel at RB. Take any 3 of these at 21,22 and 40 and were ready to rock into next season.
Those 3 yes please.
Who's your qb in this scenario?

This is great and all, but what if a team just jumps the Bills to take Rosen? The Bills would just be better of trading up to the #1 pick and not risk losing their guy, whoever it actually is.

Dont see Browns trading out, think they sign McCarron as a stop-gap and take Darnold at 1.

Would imagine Cousins in this scenario, slightly cheaper draft talent at 21/22 than 5.

Because they and everyone else knows that Cleveland is going to take their choice of QB at #1. They will probably even have a deal worked out before the draft starts. It would be stupid for Cleveland to trade away the 1st pick, watch their #1 guy go off the board then pick a 3rd option in this case with the 4th pick.

They made 2 moves which I thought were to improve their 2nd and 3rd CB positions but if they want to land a guy like Chubb or Davenport this is their best option.

Plus Peters has been a hot head his whole career in kFc.

I posted on ChokePlanet that it is hard for the coaches to ask all the CB's to get their nose dirty and make a tackle if their start CB won't. Plus they cut Revis, a guy who also had a shot at taking a shot at Henry to extend the game but didn't.

Houston isn't the same player. They probably move on from Ford this offseason and Hali is done/gone so they need a pass rusher and have no draft capital to get a good one.

Ok and then what? Fuller is a nice CB but he's not a #1, Amerson...as the #2? That's gonna be hilarious. Nelson? Who else you got?
They will get torched.

They would have to believe Talib is available but right now their only pass rusher is a run down Houston. They could also be using mMahommes 1st season starting as a rebuild year and address the #1 CB spot next year.

Veech has also shown a penchant for trading, not sure what else they have of value but they could find a vet to work a deal for also.

Comes down to them wanting to get value out of guy they are going to have to pay sooner than later who doesn't want to tackle and has issues with their staff which they knew could happen when they drafted him. Plus the GM who drafted him is gone and the new guy is trying to make over the roster with only a few draft picks.
