No selections this year.

IMO, Shanahan should have been an easy choice.

Champ Bailey should be an easy selection next year.

Classless from the Broncos. **** the 5 year rule and the BS excuse of Mike Shanahan might not be retired. He last coached in 2013 he is eligible this year. The snake Joe Ellis strikes again. John Lynch going in is a ****ing joke. Lynch himself was embarrassed to go in. Stink on the fan went off earlier about Mike Shanahan and the ROF and he was 100% right. Champ and Mike should go in together in 2019 and maybe PFM and Kubiak in 2020. Joe Ellis needs to stop acting like a little b****.

I think Shanahan is top five all time Bronco contributors. For sure 1980 & beyond which I’m more able to speak to. There were ‘founding fathers’ of Bronco football which were before my time.

1. Elway
2. Pat Bowlen
3. Mike Shanahan
4. Gary Kubiak
5. Terrell Davis

Bottom line to me, MS belongs there. And, I wish we had hired his son. Was a mistake by Mr. B to fire him IMO. I do appreciate Mr Bowlen realizing his mistake, firing cheater boy & bringing in Elway to set the franchise back on its feet.

John Lynch getting in is just plain dumbfounding when guys like Shanahan and McCaffrey aren't even in. I'll never get it, like it, or agree with it.

Some non-players to consider:

Bob Martin and Larry Zimmer (together)

Tim “Barrel Man” McKernan

Dave Logan

technically, shanny is eligible in 2019. IMO, he should have gone in with Elway in 1999.

I don't think Eddie Mac deserves to go in the ring of fame. People shouldn't be put in the ring of fame just because they were a "Bronco through and through." Mike Anderson would qualify using "Bronco-ness" as a criterion. I'd pick Al Wilson before either of them, personally. Shanny will go in, but he has one year left.

Charley Johnson and two kickers. Don't get me wrong, Johnson was really the first NFL qb they had, and they actually got over .500 but he played a short time. And kickers. And Tripuka .... who maybe should be there because the very very early broncos were pass happy, and there's Lionel Taylor. I was surprised to see Gene Mingo get in though.

So it's pretty much already opened to broncos at heart.

Seems like so sort of homey hook up. He played very well with the Broncos, and I'd say that he's well liked by the organization and fans. But he certainly wasn't great. His great years were with the Bucs. I'd say that he had some really good years at the tail end of his career with the Broncos. But certainly not enough to be in the ring of fame.

I tend to agree with McCaffrey. I'm kind of on the fence with that one. It would be awesome to see him go in. We all love the guy, and he was a key contributor so two Super Bowls. But everybody can't make it in. There has to be a cut off somewhere.

But the Lynch thing just doesn't sit right. He's in over McCaffrey and Shanahan? And Al Wilson?

The thing with Wilson, if his career wasn't cut short, he would of had the resume to get in. In seven years he had two All Pros and five Pro Bowls. He was selected All Pro in each of his final two seasons. If his career continued, maybe he gets a couple more All Pros and he would have been in consideration for the HOF. But I'd say that he was a much better Bronco than Lynch was. Lynch wasn't selected to any All Pros with the Broncos.

Lynch in the ring is a joke. I enjoyed watching the guy but so overhyped on the local and national level.

Ed is a tough case. I wouldn’t argue with him going in but can understand why some would question. You can’t have td making the runs he made without two WRs who subscribed to blocking before pass receiving.

Mike Shanahan needs to be in ASAP and I don’t care what the bad blood is between ownership and coach that caused the breakup, the team represents the city and it’s fans and Mike brought greatness to the mile high city by way of b2b championships. These guys need to get over it and shanny needs to get in.

if they don't want to put someone in this year that is fine but no one should get in before Shanahan...

Would love to see McCaffrey get in, but I do agree he's probably "borderline" for the cut off.

And, also agree w/those confused by Lynch making it in.

If it were between McCaffrey and Lynch alone, I would think the choice would be clear if put to a vote.

Mind boggling.

I don't have a problem with Eddie going in. He was a big contributor to our SB wins, plus the O really only featured 2 WR's during his tenure. Al should be in there no doubt, he got screwed at the end. That was sad.

I can’t beleive they skipped a year with Al Wilson and Trevor Pryce sitting there. I bet they are waiting to let Mike Shanahan in first.
