That would be like putting your money on Uzzi in an MMA fight over Brock Lesnar because Uzzi dominated a preschooler in his division more than Lesnar dominated Randy Couture...

The debate was over the 1st and 2nd pick in the draft. People saw Leaf as the better QB and that is ****ing it. ONE PLAYER. There was only one player in the 1998 draft that was underrated and that should feel like he was slapped in the face. I'm sure with all your football knowledge you know who that is.

You don't get it.. we are talking about Peyton Manning.. arguably the best QB in NFL HISTORY.

And it was a debate between him and a guy who couldn't even hack it in the league.. do you really think that same debate would have been there if Leaf was on a comparable teams to Manning's in the SEC?

No chance in the world.. because Leaf would have been exposed in the SEC.

That's why he was picked number one overall, and again the SEC wasn't the major power conference back then.

Right.. because the people drafting always get it right...

They still were THE power.. they just weren't as much a power as they are right now...

That the SEC can win championships year after year even going THROUGH the SEC is unbelievable.. It's why Tebow's accomplishment was so unbelievable and why it was so ridiculous his accomplishments were undervalued.

You do know that NU won 3 out of 4 NC while Manning was in college right? They even beat two SEC schools. One was 62 to 24 and the other was against Manning 42 to 17.

Go read my last post a few more times then get back to me..

Let's say 2 teams were going to face each other in a championship game.. one team had to run a marathon the day before.. the other didn't.. who should win the championship game?

Now go read my last post again a few more times...

Can the mods please make it so this is the only thread the guy is allowed to post in from now on? I feel like it's much more enjoyable when it is contained and localized, and it would prevent him from becoming a distraction elsewhere.

I'm undecided if this thread should go into the cluster**** category, or the fubar category.

I'll go with the team that's so bad ass they run marathons before games, for fun. Seems like an obvious answer to me.

Tebow isn't facing SEC speed in these games now.. the same evaluating system that made scrubs like Bradford and McCoy Heisman favorites over Tebow overrates all the other players entering the NFL.. just as Tebow was underrated coming out of the SEC by playing SEC competition. Even Peyton manning was underrated coming out of college for the same reason.

The very process that made Tebow so immensely and unbelievably underrated is actually what makes the NFL less of a challenge than the SEC. Because the NFL is watered down and filled with overrated players relative to the SEC...

I am sure you will pull a TheRev level disappearing act now... and simply scoff and provide no support for your scoffing..

Just goes to show you how hard it is to really slow your game down and play under your talent level once you reach the NFL. Most guys are unable to make that adjustment... such a disadvantage for the SEC.

on this thread, i learned:

a) SEC football > NFL football.
b) there are 3 phases to any truth/lie. no more, no less.
c) 32nd level freemasons are pulling all the strings. we are their puppets.
d) MacGruder is completely batsh*t crazy.

Was that ever a question about Tebow? So how is it possible he is a better runner in the NFL than in college?

Because he is a perfect example of the point I am trying to illustrate.. why is that an issue?

Was he not an SEC player?

Why can't you ever answer a question with a straight answer?

Is questioning why I use Tebow as an example a way of dodging the question because you have no answer? Obviously...
