![]() Like I said, Sox get a lucky start vs Waino....Cards leave Boston with one in the bag with Wacha's tie up of the Sox lineup. Did y'all see a difference in the bullpen's tonight?
Peavy vs Kelly for game 3 should be another good game. Last edited by Vegas_Bronco; 10-24-2013 at 09:39 PM.. |

![]() The Cardinals came back last night doing what they have been doing all season long. Good pitching and timely hitting.
You talk about arrogant? Humble, I would say. If anyone is arrogant, it is that prick Victorino, what a jackass! Y'all saw Wacha pitch tonight, 4-0 in the post season. Bite me Boston! |

![]() Wait, what?!? I'm going to need some clarification here.
Sox win 8-1 and are "lucky" because 2 of their runs were unearned? Yet the Cards win by 2 solely due to 2 errors on one play....and they're NOT the lucky ones? Wow. Please tell me you're either joking or trolling because, if not, you need help. Not really....not if you mean between the two teams. If you mean out of ST Louis alone from one game to the next, then that's different. |

![]() I will be here win or lose! I have nothing to do with whether they win or not. I am just a lifelong fan. I didn't have time to post my serious concerns after the erroneous failings of the Redbirds in game 1. Wainwright worried me but I have a lot of confidence in their pitching staff. Too many stoopid mistakes and we got slammed.

Cards victory last night was earned as was Red Sox the night before but if you can't talk smack in baseball, you might as well go watch golf. |

![]() wow, that's a tough call at third although I see the legs come up and really it depends on which perspective you have on that play. Interesting that both wins have been decided by errors - tough throws to third base.

![]() Third base umpire does not see Craig struggling to get up and stumbling...as he is watching the ball roll (pic 1). He then turns in a split second (pic 2) and sees Craig getting tripped by Middlebrooks legs. Outfield umpire sees it as a trip also as Craig rises up to run and then stumbles back to the ground. It's the right call no doubt, but a tough situation for the defender Middlebrooks. Was he simply raising his feet to keep his legs clear of the base line (yes) - does it appear as interference (yes).

![]() Yeah, tough for Middlebrooks there. However, he put his legs up right in the path of Craig. I don't know, just wonder why he raised his legs like that with Craig RIGHT there.

![]() Tough night for Middlebrooks as he missed what seemed to be a playable ball on Holliday's double earlier in the game.
To the State of CO and all Rockies fans, I express my sincerest appreciation (2 for 3 and 2 RBI's)...Holliday Road! Last edited by Vegas_Bronco; 10-26-2013 at 11:02 PM.. |

Technically the way the rule is written after the ball is past him he is no longer part of the play, if you will. But at third base and after diving to make the play how is the third baseman supposed get out of the way. Some may also argue that the runner shoved him to the ground, rather than falling on him. ****ty way to end the game for the Sox, but what can you do. |
