Wait people are complaining about $15/mo in here? It's $15. If you've paid for a movie ticket ever in your life you shouldn't really complain about a huge vault of great shows, and new movies all the time available lol

The people upset about a few bucks a month are probably the same ones that spent 2 hours waiting at Krispy Kreme for $0.80 donuts lol

Well it probably isn't strictly about the $15/mo. It's also the prospect of bills, credit cards, rent/mortgage, loans, etc. Save yourself $15 in cable and a little more on your cell phone bill and a little more being conservative with water and electricity and it all adds up. But maybe that's just me. I used to only have around $700/mo after bills. Then I cut the dead weight in a lot of things, entertainment and cell phone stuff included (which was easy because I hardly ever used all the features I paid for in either) and now I have about $1,000/mo after bills. Like I said, little things add up

It was weak minus the opening. I mean if there was 10 episodes, sure, maybe not as weak. With 6 episodes, it was slow. We'll see what happens.

Seven episodes this season. Six next season, with most all of season eight being 80+ minute episodes. There are a lot of plots and storylines that need to be built up correctly.

What the **** were you expecting from the first episode? For all the wars to happen?

Slow? There were two transcontinental boat rides in a single episode. The pieces were put into play and were literally explained by Cersei in that map scene. I swear if there's not some huge battle every episode, people will b****.

I don't think a lot of the people read the books (and yeah, I know the show is beyond that now) or actually really think about or understand why some things are the way they are. See aforementioned griping about Bran. It's quite clear a handful of posters ITT don't understand his character / character arc.

Gotta set up some pieces before you play the game.

Meanwhile, who is Ed Sheeran and why does anyone care?

If that cameo REALLY bothered people that much, they need to get a life.

The Ed Sheeran thing was about as subtle as Austin Powers introducing Burt Bacharach. I felt while I was watching it that the writers were nudging me with their elbows saying "Huh, huh, see there, do you see?" I don't have a problem with people wanting cameos and giving it to them but forcing it was just awkward.

It reminded me of the scene in Band of Brothers when Jimmy Fallon shows up...only not quite that bad.

Just my 2 cents.

It was more egregious than the past cameos no doubt, but who cares. it was one scene.

If Arya kills Ed Sheeran in the next episode, all is forgiven

Speaking of Arya, here is who remains on her "kill list"

- Cersei
- Ilyn Payne
- Melisandre
- Beric
- Thoros
- The Mountain
- The Hound

About half of the list is dead (Tywin, Joffrey, Walder, Rorge, Polliver, Meryn)

This episode will be remembered for other things but I really hope they don't do that as blatant again. Just annoying to me and if someone asked me what the low points of the episode were I would say that and also the Mormont girl continuing the whole "I'M TOUGH YOU GUYZ" thing. Bad ass last season, verging on annoying to me this season.

I'm fully aware this is nitpicking to the extreme.

I am right with you on both points. The little girl thing will get old quick, especially if they keep panning to the other characters grinning afterwards. It really wouldn't be so bad without that
