NE will win but it will be close.

Pats struggle to run the ball, struggle in pass pro, among other things. have been playing bad football for weeks.

I'll be rooting for the Chiefs next weekend. Much rather play them than NE.

you're right. We probably only win by 10 this time around.

And that's if Brady, Edelman and Amendola all play.

If the Chiefs lose, BossChief has to shave his curly mullet and get a Patriots tattoo on his head.

Can anyone with video skills comp a Chiefs helmet on Jodie foster on the pinball machine, and patriots helmets on the honkeytonk bar patrons?

All will play. And a much healthier team is awaiting your arrival. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

Let's be honest here. It is really stupid to say team A will beat team B because of what happened in a previous year.

Call me crazy, call me a contrarian, whatever. But I actually think KC has a shot in this game. Sorry for not following the theme of the thread. Am I the only one?

Sure. They have w good shot. But id be surprised. When they have their full compliment of receivers, this team scores 30 points a game. KC is missing maclin. It's in foxboro. I'd just be surprised

I think so too actually. Watching KC play offense makes me want to gouge my eyes out but they're playing solid, if boring, football.

I'm sure it'll be as exciting as watching paint dry. Both offenses screening and drinking and dunking 3 yard passes and 2 yard crossing routes. Occasionally, Andy Reid will decide to go deep and Smith will throw an 8 yard out to Kelce.

Nope.

Pats have struggled to run the ball and in pass protection. would still pick NE because its tough winning in Foxboro though.

Chiefs are the Cubs of the NFL. This is as far as they'll go, they got lucky playing Hoyer, who gifted them 4-5 turnovers yesterday. I'm looking forward to watching Andy Reid's clock mismanagement and Alice Smith playing bad in foxboro.

Not with a gimpy Maclin and the Chiefs not gifted a backup quality qb. Pats will take away what queefs do best and make smith throw deep.

If the Pats are the Pats I agree. If they're the the beat up team from the last 6 weeks of the season they're ripe for the picking, and KC could possibly be the team to do it.

Obviously.
They're playing on the road and facing last year's Super Bowl winner and people are acting like it's a knock on KC for not being favored in the game.

What's amazing is some of the blind vitriol and homerism in so many posts that essentially are rephrasing to say Chiefs = turrible!

Hey, NE could end up handily winning the game, because the Pats have been more successful than any other franchise for over a decade and a half - cheating or not. Brady is consistently successful in the playoffs, unlike Peyton, unless he has to face the other Manning, Eli.

What is laughable is the idea that it's not even going to be a contest. KC hasn't been blown out all season. Both teams played one another last season, and it's not indicative of how Saturday's game is going to turn out, but it's a reasonable gauge in terms of the fact that it should be a competitive contest.

Everyone's certainly entitled to their opinion, but as the saying goes, opinions are like buttholes, everyone's got one, and everyone thinks everybody else's stinks.

Of course, the title of the thread obviously indicates that the chances of any thoughtful discussion of KC or the upcoming game against the Pats is a leap of faith, at best, but more than likely a fools errand.

I've yet to see any reasonable discussion actually about match-ups, let alone on advantages and disadvantages of lines, secondary, backs, etc... .
