The defense should be designed every week around maximizing his game.
You know that brings up a question about all these really good pass rushers.
I kinda expect more from Ray and Barrett. Not seeing it. Iím also not seeing much from Wolfe and Gotstis. They are OK, but not much push on the interior.
I expected more madness and reckless violence from these guys.
In their defense, Chokelands O line is really good. But I still expected Carr on his but all day.

The 3rd and 7 at the two minute warning
Now that was a dude call by Gruden or Carr
Slant for 4 yards is the best play call at that point in the game for Oakland

I'd say their biggest concern with the DBs is Brock and Jones. I'd like to see more man and aggressive coverage, and Harris and Roby will be fine. But Brock and Jones are going to be problems. That's why I'm still bothered that they got rid of Talib. Having three legit CBs in a pass happy league is a luxury. Now they're down to two, and QBs have somebody to pick on.

I think you hit it: Oakland has a damn good Oline. They're a lot tougher team than they used to be. I was happy to get the win. That last game of the season in Oakland is going to be very tough.

Hopefully by then gruden has run off the entire team. I hate the raiders.

So glad they traded Mack. Fortunately, we can still rely on the Raiders to do something stupid. Who knows what kind of shape they'll be in by December?

One thing about the Defense is Ray isn't very good and Wolfe isn't the player he was in 05. Ray is just a warm body and Wolfe is a good player in a rotation but doesn't seem to beast like he did. I think he is scared(rightfully so) of doing something to his neck that puts him in a wheelchair.

He has been inactive last 2 weeks.

So has DeMarcus Walker for some strange reason... maybe he's just not that good.

Oakland was just using quick passes all day and we were letting them. Other teams are going to do the same going forward. If you donít use press coverage every team will use short passes to counter a strong pass rush.

Raiders definitely have a good O-line and a quick pass scheme. Broncos only hit Carr once, Rams only 3 times.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. If they didn't draft Chubb he'd probably be playing, but there's no room behind Von, Ray, Barrett, and Chubb.

Let them, they will get stopped more often than not. Thats the game plan against an aggressive defense. As long as teams think they can stop our offense. If we score, then they can't play it safe, and it plays into Denver's hands.

And it's easier to tackle the guy if you're closer to him.

Roc Alexander gave up huge cushions and then couldn't make the tackle because the guy would put a move on him.

Ah, right, lol. I can't keep track of what he is since they changed his position last year. So, I guess we only dress 3 DEs? Gotsis, Wolfe, and Kerr?

And Shelby. Dressing Shelby & Kerr instead of Walker made sense in this game because the raiders OL is very large and good. Kolar wanted more beef up front for this matchup.

Same deal with Seattle. They were gearing up to stop the run.

Rewatching the game and through the first half a lot of off coverage by the outside CBs.

Radio says it's all his fault.

What that means is anyone's guess.

Fault doesn't matter, what matters is that he didn't try to justify it. He said it didn't work, and they know what to change.

Well it kinda does. We were told Woods knew how to pick up where Wade left off.

Radio never had any part of that. So why are his fingerprints on it?

That kind of thinking isn't allowed on the Mane. Don't you know that if it happens in one game, then it will always happen. Adjustments are things that only the other teams do, despite evidence to the contrary both games.
