I love how the mane just makes up story lines like Roby isn't worth resigning. He is, and he will be.

John could find a way to work a deal to make him fit this year and pay him a big roster bonus next year when we will have more cap.
PP is elite, Ray isn't. I think it would take Ray and a 1st.

If by secondary help you mean a washed up thug vet, then you're answer is yes.

Too bad him and Talib couldn't have been in the same secondary, mofos woulda been wearing bullet proof vests under their jerseys.

Why would they want Ray? They already got the better OLB from that Missouri team. Ray is about worthless really.

Eagles are desperate for WR help, maybe they'd be up for a trade?

What would have happened if Cleveland would have grabbed Chubb and Denver then took Ward. He has been terrific with Cleveland and already has 2 ints.

Earl Thomas is available. Seattle definitely needs receiver help but I hope they wouldn’t consider DT I’m not a fan. I know he has had really good stats and all but something aside from the dropsies always seemed a little bit off with him keeping him from being elite.

Who wouldn't. It's easy to sit and think up unrealistic scenarios.

Earl Thomas is probably more realistic than PP. But, Thomas is a safety.

Yeah, I certainly hope people don't think DT for PP straight up is something to be taken seriously.

Truthfully, I’ve quietly worried about the same thing.. Hopefully we’re both wrong and he goes full Champ Bailey here soon..

Kind of a mute point. Teams with multiple good CBs are not likely to trade them away during the season. The unsigned free agent CBs are not anything to get excited about, either. I, also, agree this was a concern after trading away Talib. It looks like it will have to wait until next offseason to be addressed.

And the safety positions are another concern. It's the entire secondary.

PP, David Johnson and Fitz are the backbone of the Cardinals that are fully entrenched in the community. The Cards have historically held on to these guys. They have zero interest in trading PP and the only time I have heard anything suggesting it is on Denver websites. I listen to a decent amount of AZ sports radio when driving around.

If they wanted to trade him it would be a salary dump so I'd expect a young player with picks or straight picks.

Broncos can afford the best FA CB on the market next offseason, and that's what I expect they'll do.

Roby already declined the Broncos offseason offer, saying he wants to test FA. I think Roby would have to prove himself to be indespensible to be re-signed in Denver.

And to get a decent contract in FA. Looks like next year is all about the secondary.

Yeah, I just don't think it's as big of a need as CB. Particularly if they can get Cravens back.
