I thought you are what some a-hole online tells you are online in power rankings. This not true, are playoffs determined by your actual football ranking?

My biggest concern right now is that we wonít get a good look at Kelly and will subsequently spend our 1st rounder on a QB (maybe even trade up for one) when we donít actually need to. I donít really feel like Kelly needs to start this year (heís probably better off sitting), but it kind of feels like we need to start him to potentially avoid yet another QB **** up.

You got to see what Chad Kelly can do this year, you canít get scared to draft a QB cause youíre scared Elway will **** it up. Last I checked Elway drafted Kelly as well.

Seattle is actually a really good team. They are not a top tier team but are definitely trending in the right direction. The most surprising thing is the o-line has been one of the best in the league the past few weeks. They should be as good as last years team with the legion of boom being dismantled and I think Carroll deserves a lot of credit for the way theyíve been playing

Had a couple of discussions with some idiots about this at the beginning of season.

I’ll wait till season ends to dish out some trash.

Ha yeah Uncle Pete is a keeper. Iím not going to act like I didnít have my doubts but it appears him and Schneider did the right thing by letting Sherman Walk and not resigning Thomas. The Seahawks secondary is still really good.

I was wrong about them. Their unknown players and young ones have stepped up. There is still a lot of football left and playing AZ and SF for 4 games will make you look better than you are but today was a good win. They got rid of all the locker room issues and bloated contracts which is what I want Denver to do. The difference is they have a franchise QB.

We are going to lose if we play them again.

They have played pretty well but let's not bring up who they have beat. We will find out who they are over the next month. They have played well but 2 wins are against AZ and Oakland. What they have going for them after these tough games coming up is AZ(who they were lucky to beat the first time) and SF x2.

Let's review who they have beat. Oakland, AZ(who easily could have won but missed a FG), Dallas in Seattle and Lions on the road. I see 1 good win there because Dallas is not good on the road.

Now they get a rough schedule playing both LA teams, Green Bay and Carolina in the next 4. They still have Minny and KC with 3 gimmes mixed in. We will find out where they are for sure. They have been much better than advertised and Carroll got rid of the knuckleheads and has the young guys playing well.

Seattle's rebuilding and competing.

We're rebuilding and watching film.

While I don't necessarily disagree, everyone should realize that this excuses VJ to at least a certain extent!

I see the opposite.

You see it every year, especially in younger teams (and younger levels of football)

Perennial contenders usually looking shaky and vulnerable early. Losing or underachieving against better talent.

Then gradually the same teams tend to surface at the top, again and again. With new pieces. Often pieces that aren't all that highly regarded. The teams that thought they were contenders by beating or competing with them early fade away.

Because that's what ****ty coaching looks like.

That is the best way to explain it but they do have a franchise QB. There aren't many teams with a franchise QB that completely have a fall apart season.

Agree. Just a huge Paxton hangover. The rarest of 1st round QB's that never offered anyone any hope.

Now how ****ed are we?

Well that's a completely separate issue/argument from what I was commenting on. I was responding to the notion that good QB's make coaches look good. If true, and I think it most certainly is, the opposite is also true. Now, with that, I'm not saying Keenum alone is the reason VJ sucks. But what I am saying is he'd look better if we had a better QB. Personally, I'd like a better QB and a better coach.

It is, and its a night game. I'd bet on KC but tough place to play/win at. Russ is insane, i'd trade anything to get him on Denver.
