Sorry if it was offensive to you. What I said was supposed to be somewhat tongue-in-cheek and obviously taken with the consideration that there are always exceptions and no real rules.

However, I've been overseas to different countries and Europe and Asia has quit a few slim and trim people. You were very selective in your critcal reading of my post. As I said, American women are the prettiest.

I still stand by what I say about American women knowing the least about how to treat a man. You know something? Ask any Asian or European woman and she'll tell you the same thing. I've had relationships with both, and its absolutely true. The foreign women I dated were more concerned about how I felt or was than most of the American girls I've dated. Could be the biased sample fallacy, though. Obviously I haven't dated every single American or foreign woman.


Right. That sums up my post: I want a stepford wife. Someone who looks amazing, never says anything, and makes me food whenever I want. I could staple a picture of Adriana Lima to my microwave and get that.

See, this is what I'm talking about. The foreign girls I dated were very much not "drones." They're quite aware that a lot of people think they're pushovers and it pisses them off. They speak their minds freely and don't take crap from people.

To be fair, I never said a guy should not have to do anything to help the place out. I grew up in a household where the guys did the dishes, shopping, our share of cleaining, and cooked half the time.



It would be if I was a fat slob who sat around the house all day in a mustard stained wife-beater. Now I'm no fashion consultant, but I like to put my best foot forward when I dress, I clean my gilrfriends' house while they get ready, and I exercise regularly. Then again, i'm only 25, so maybe after 20 years i'll be a fat slob.

I have my fair share criticisms of American men as well. They aren't without their vices, or their fat. This thread was about women, though, so that's what my post was about.

Ok, I admit I got a bit too irritated over it. I didn't mean to be a rag about it. The whole post just seemed to be about how much American women suck, and this American woman don't suck. ( Not that kind of suck either, ya'll know what I mean.) When I look at my friends, I don't see this kind of thing ringing true either. I do know women like this, I just know more that are great.

My husband is not the kind of guy I described either, I was just using a generalization, but I wouldn't be too happy to see him turn into that kind of person.

That doesn't mean that its true for you or for every American girl, but generally it has been for me. And as I also said, that doesn't mean that foreign girls aren't without their faults, or that American men are perfect, because they aren't.

This is a fair statement.

There's a whole lot of men out there that think women are the worst thing going on the planet. I was lucky when I got my divorce over 10 years ago. I talked her out of half my pension and annuity by trading her the back my half of the child support owed to us for my stepson (her son from her first).

A lot of guys don't take it very well when one half of everything they've worked for all their lives is given to their ex who in some cases left them for another man.

One guy I know retired after 45 years with a great pension ($4600 a month) and a nice annuity to go with it. The next day his wife handed him divorce papers which in Colo. automatically entitled her to half his pension and annuity.

I'm not saying that this is always the woman's fault because their are some guys that have treated their wives like crap for a lot of years but you can see how some men might become somewhat upset.
