NFl to Issue LaCross equipment to enhance passing game
"But I think you saw some good football played," Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said. "The guys who went on to be Pro Bowl defenders, you can feel like they really were Pro Bowl defenders. I think it separated people who were very good from people who weren't, and
I love that quote. Who is "We" says Tonto, as he deals off Edgerin James for a second rounder...
Why the NFL insists on making the NFL the newest version of Basketball is totally beyond me. It's so cute to have Tony Dungy making excuses for this travesty. "Gee, your QB threw for 50 touchdowns with the relaxed rules, do you think it might be an unfair advantage?"
"I think that's part of what we wanted to see." What else do you want Peyton? A Bubble? Or maybe we should count 1 mississippi 2 mississippi while teams hold to the point of absurdity?
I'm done. The rules committee has thrown out all the record books. It's obvious that they want the NFL to be a passing league, to entice more excitement from morons who remember Bill Brown and Jim Brown and that other Brown.
It's pretty obvious that the 55 point over/under is here to stay.
