CP) - Sidney Crosby and the Rimouski Oceanic put on an offensive clinic Friday to move within three games of a QMJHL record.

Crosby scored three goals - giving him a league-leading 61 on the season - and added four assists to lead the red-hot Oceanic to a 10-6 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in QMJHL action, extending Rimouski's undefeated streak to 24 games.

The Oceanic (41-17-5-3) haven't lost since last Dec. 28, and now own a share of the third-longest unbeaten streak in QMJHL history. The 1973-74 Sorel Black Hawks and the 1998-99 Quebec Remparts each had 27-game unbeaten streaks, while the1995-96 Hull Olympiques also went unbeaten in 24 straight games.

Crosby's seven-point night lifted his league-leading point-total to 152.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL on Friday, it was: Moncton 3, Baie-Comeau 2; Lewiston 3, Quebec 2 (OT); Cape Breton 2, Chicoutimi 2; Shawinigan 4, Victoriaville 3; Val-d'Or 5, Acadie-Bathurst 3; Halifax 2, Gatineau 1; and Drummondville 3, P.E.I. 2.

At Rimouski, Que., Crosby's line combined for 18 points; Dany Roussin added a season-high four goals and two assists, while Marc-Antoine Pouliot chipped in with five assists.

Eric Neilson, Danny Stewart and Michal Sersen added singles for the Oceanic, who kept pace with Halifax atop the overall standings. The Mooseheads lead by one point, and both teams have four games remaining.

Guilliaume Desbiens and Guillaume Doucet each scored twice for Rouyn-Noranda (29-22-10-5), while Dominic Deblois and Nicolas Lafontaine also had goals.

Wildcats 3, Drakkar 2

At Moncton, N.B., Corey Crawford made 25 saves as the Wildcats edged Baie-Comeau.

Charles Bergeron, Brad Marchand and Adam Pineault scored for Moncton (37-22-7-2).

Francois Bouchard countered with both goals for the Drakkar (21-36-5-4).

Lewiston 3, Remparts 2

At Lewiston, Me., Stephane Chaput scored at 1:37 of overtime in the Maineiacs' win over Quebec.

Ryan Murphy and Alexandre Picard added singles for Lewiston (31-27-8-0).

Karl Gagne and Jordan Lavallee had goals for the Remparts (34-22-5-5)

Screaming Eagles 2, Sagueneens 2

At Chicoutimi, Que., Jean-Claude Sawyer's goal with 4:05 left in regulation helped Cape Breton earn a tie with the Sagueneens.

Vincent Lambert had the other goal for the Screaming Eagles (30-26-7-3).

Francis Lemieux and Marek Zagrapan answered for Chicoutimi (38-18-6-5).

Cataractes 4, Tigres 3

At Victoriaville, Que., Jonathan Boutin's goal with 2:10 remaining in the third period guided Shawinigan past the Tigres.

Simon-Pierre Sauve, Benoit Mondou and Matthew Pistilli also scored for the Cataractes (31-22-11-2).

Mike Ramsey, Gabriel Boies and Alexandre Imbeault had goals for Victoriaville (25-34-4-4).

Foreurs 5, Titan 3

At Acadie-Bathurst, Que., Mark Hurtubise scored twice and added an assist as Val-d'Or beat the Titan.

Jean-Sebastien Breton, Jonathan Charette and Kristopher Letang also scored for the Titan (20-35-10-2).

Ryan Seymour, Dave Duclos-Bertrand and Vladimir Kutny replied for Acadie-Bathurst (17-39-7-3)

Mooseheads 2, Olympiques 1

At Gatineau, Que., Jeremy Duchesne made 26 saves to lift Halifax over the Olympiques.

Alexandre Picard and Frederic Cabana scored for the Mooseheads (40-15-9-2).

Sam Roberts had the lone goal for Gatineau (29-28-5-4).

Voltigeurs 3, Rocket 2

At Drummondville, Que., Louis-Philippe Martin scored with 6:08 left in the third period to carry the Voltigeurs past P.E.I.

Frederic St. Denis and Derick Brassard also had goals for Drummondville (27-25-9-5).

Yanick Charron and Billy Bezeau answered for the Rocket (23-36-6-0).
