Excuse me while I feel I have to rant a little on myself
I realized something about myself last night........ I'm 31 years old, there is no denying that I feel younger lol I played basketball for the first time in 6 years last night and I am paying for it today. Mind you I'm not some couch potato, I run on treadmill 2 xs and lift weights 2xs a week. I'm in "ok" shape compared to a lot of people I'd dare say. Well, that was put into test last night, I played on a tile floor gym and there is no give and my back is telling me there is no give at all. My lower back is hurting and my calves feel like they are mooing I couldn't jump as high as I use to and I shot like a girl who has never played bball before. I'm 31 and there is no denying it....will I play again next Thursday? yep, the spirit of competition is strong in me and I'm going to get in better shape...lol. I just posted this to make anyone under 31 or people over 31 who are in great shape a little ego boost. |

If its a sports that you havent played in a real long time, obviously you are gonna be in pain.
It happens at all ages. The lower back pain and spasm. Im sure age does play a role tho. Im proud of you old man. ![]() |
