Default for you flat panel monitor users

make sure you go out to microsoft and use the clear type setup, it makes a big difference.

Did you click on the part that reads ClearType Web interface and go through the four step installation?

Flat Panel?

I've been using cleartype/font smoothing on my CRT monitor for years.

MOrons. IM an IT guy, not some schmuck that doesnt know his way around a computer. And I wasn't high and I dont need glasses.

My computer must have already been adjusted because there was absolutely no change. I went through and picked the ones that "looked best" and I still got no change.

You are probably right. I had cleartype already enabled on my PC and the only adjustment I saw was the text getting a little darker.

The leading cause of poor eyesight in young men?

Excessive weasel whipping.

You boys stop beating the bishop for a few days and see if you don't notice a difference.

Just thought i'd share. My crt at home looked worse with clear type, but it's an ibm monitor, so there's probably something with that -

but my dell LCD @ work looked 1000x better. So i thought i'd share.
