I don't know the guy like that to label him an idiot. The true details of whatever happened will only be known by those involved.

It's ridiculous how some Denver fans are quicker to turn on players than support them during adversity.

The least anyone can do is give time for details and the situation to play out.

But no - idiots still to this very day still jump to conclusions off a headline. It's sad people can't see the fault in this type of thinking. Absolutely mindless.

Specifically in Denver it seems as fans are more comfortable hating on players than actually fully supporting them.

Unless your name is Peyton hillis.

What do you mean by intelligent?

Anything can happen to anybody - has nothing to do with intelligence.

Intelligent people do stupid **** every day.

It just seems like the way you're profiling "an intelligent guy" is a guy that wouldn't even be at the strip club in the 1st place. So you have to step back and just call TJ ward for being an idiot for wanting to go to the strip club.

Which is cool - just make sure you're labeling all people who go to strip clubs as idiots when you take that route.

I'm asking him in how he's profiling an "intelligent guy". That's such a broad term when you're profiling people.

Mark Cuban is intelligent. Peyton Manning is intelligent.

2 completely different people...and Mark Cuban is on record for being a ****ing wild ass in his younger years.

Intelligence isn't relevant in this situation - we're talking about something that happened at a strip club not something at the debate club.

I could have probably found 2 better people to contrast what I'm trying to say - but **** it hopefully you get my point.

For the record - I'm not saying TJ ward is an intelligent guy.

All I see him is as a football player who was the best at his position - which puts him in an elite group of athletes across all sports. Was able to stay focused in Cleveland of all places to be the best at what he did - and earned himself a $22 million contract and never had any character issues. Put the time and effort into his craft - studied film - and he is where he is today. See - when I say that - when someone writes it - when people talk about - most people can't really connect to what it means to put time and effort into mastering a craft in which you're competing at the highest level with other people that are gunning for you. It's just words to most of you people.

One minor incident like this is just life.

But as someone said earlier - what people want is grown ass men playing a violent sport on the field - but you're surprised when these same men have moments of high testosterone at a place like a strip club.

I think I agree with Action. We are all capable of poor decision making. Me more than most.

Intelligent guy, who in this case has millions of dollars does not go into shady all nude strip joints. If he does, he does not bring in his own booze. Also realizes if he wants to keep his millions, throwing random objects at strangers can lead to lawsuits.

Stupid is Stupid.

Maybe. But I'd be willing to bet none of the definitions of "intelligent" include "throwing **** at strangers in a titty bar."

I know some very intelligent people that have done much worse in a moment of anger and I bet you do too. Intelligent people do stupid stuff with regularity.

We all come equipped with our very own monkey brain.

FWIW it does sound likeTJ Ward is guilty of being a drunk jerk, but there really are worse things. He wasn't driving and he flung a mug that hit a girl in the hand. Definitely douche material but I don't believe that makes someone a criminal.

It also says he may have talent at the quarterback position after all he was drunk and still managed to hit her right in the hands.

I agree. Sure he acted stupid for a moment and made a poor choice but he wasn't drunk driving around drinking Schnapps.

I don't think Tebow mania was fun for anyone especially Tebow himself.

First of all....22 years, that's awesome. You should write a book about it with all the stuff you've probably seen in those 22 years.

Question: What's the craziest thing you've seen happen in those 22 years?
