Speaking as a moderator here, we try to be on the same page. If you feel a ban is unjustified, you can appeal it to TJ and make your case. Some lines are more firm then others. No family smack, no wishing death on other posters, teams, players. If you do any of these, the penalty is severe. If you are banned under one username, coming back with another will trigger an immediate, permanent ban of the new moniker.

As for temp bans, if what you got banned for is not something you would say in mixed company, do not say it here. Even if what you called the adonis belt is correct...after a fashion.

At least I think that was you.

That's what we're doing. He's referred me to an endocrinologist and meeting him is the next step. Nothing besides vitamin D has been prescribed.

You said you've only been working out for 2 months? I'm no expert but that to me sounds like a very short time to be expecting huge results. You said you're getting better numbers, just keep at it and see how much it keeps going up. It's not exactly as if you're doing something that will be a waste of time. Getting in shape and eating right will have many more benefits then just increasing T.

I suggest you also follow up with Smurf as I mentioned earlier, you could get blue balls from the Vitamin D.

I don't think this has been mentioned but you see quite a few people doing this over the past few years.

IF (Intermittent Fasting)

Basically you still consume your daily calories, but you do it within a 6 hour window, and then you don't eat a single thing the rest of the 24 hour cycle. This has shown to increase not only Testosterone, but HGH (Human Growth Hormone) as well. I was actually surprised to see just how much your HGH jumps when you do this. I remember Hugh Jackman first talking about this during his training for one of the more recent X-Men movies. There are alot of people who swear by this and have stats to show for it.

Might want to give that a try Kaylore. Do it for a month, along with your weights and Intervals. I seriously want to give it a go but damn, it's hard to go for 14-16 hours without food. I remember one guy said it's rough for the first week but then you totally get used to it and then you come to love it.

My thoughts also are, and I have no proof of this, I'm no scientist but it seems LOGICAL, that your body will produce more T if it's required. If you're not doing things that require your body to make it, why should it? So obviously the working out hard stuff applies, you're body needs to make it so you can add muscle. But the mental thing to me applies as well. This is where I think the being around women you don't know and flirting with them helps. As well, maybe do some boxing or martial arts training. I think the mindset of having to be as physical as you can, in order to compete and win some type of match where physical strength is required, forces your body to make more T. It's the same with needing to compete with other guys to get the pretty girl. If you're not doing any of this, your body says what's the point in making T if this guy isn't going to need it. Of course, as I said, I can't prove any of that, it just makes sense in my own mind. You need to have the mindset of an alpha male for at least several hours a day.

Of course, you could simply just have a brain tumor not letting your body produce the hormone. There is a story of a guy who had that same thing. His levels were under 20 and he was 30 years old.

That's it. Take it for what it's worth. I do hope though that you get it fixed and you feel better.

It does bring up some good points, but I think this is in line with most other treatments as well. Don't just go for the magic pill right away. Give life changes, diet, etc a REAL SHOT for several years even, before going down the path of meds. You will never know if you never try.

Personally I would just stick to the cocktail of goofballs, less likely to pull a Gram Parsons that way.

Plus you can crush the goofballs and snort them off midgets butts!

Hopefully you can get some meds for that.

Be well, buddy.
Hey my testosterone would be low if my Man Crush's career was over too.

Gene Kranz is so legendary that his memory will live for as long as the human race. Kupers career is just a footnote of being a top 5 G for a couple years before he got hurt.

My two cents:

Ockham's Razor it.

You're fatigued
Added some midsection weight
Have a very young child

I'd say it's pretty likely you've just always had low T levels and the three items above are all interdependent.

Likely remedies:

Lose some weight.
Get better sleep.
Put your kid up for adoption.

Zona, I regular fasting as part of my religious practices.

TheRev, I had a higher libido when I was waking up with my newborn during the night and then going to work. I figured this was age. Maybe it's genetic. I do know this is different than before. And two different tests have confirmed it. This is more than a lack of rest and fatigue.

DenverBrit, thanks for the article. My doctor has been thorough and my endocrinologist hasn't prescribed anything yet.

Heavy Squats, Fasting. Getting rid of sugars and crappy grains.

Seriously though, I'd try some of the natural weirdo's remedies before I'd resort to prescription stuff. Dr. William Wong (unfortunate name) has some interesting theories on hormones. He mentions Maca Root powder as just one of many things that can help. I've used it for awhile and I feel like monster when I'm living clean everywhere else but it could just be just in my head. I do think it's about reducing calories and clean eating and getting leaner in some way.

Or go the other way, and Juice your brains out and start banging any that looks at you funny. Why not live to 75 like a man. I don't believe any of the bull**** about testosterone being harmful. If anything it's your bodies increase of estrogen that makes you lose your hair, get tubby and have your prostate swell. Then again, I'm a dummy.

In all fairness, I love ice cream and I'm married so I don't try as hard. I'm also in my mid 30's so I figure it might be age. There were other things though, like I have been making small mental errors and had difficulty focusing. I've actually noticed this posting here. I'll leave off punctuation and make spelling errors, leave off articles before words... predict a close SB game - clearly something is physically wrong with my mind.

So my Doc says he wants to check my hormones. Fine. We get checked and I register 114 nano-grams (men are usually between 300-800. I'm sure there will be some OM posters here telling us they have a billion ng.) Because of the way the T-levels bind to proteins, and the less than accurate way they test free testosterone, they just test a total and like to re-test. I take some vitamin D, prescription strength and eat a bunch of zinc filled foods and some fats. I'm trying to lift weights and do some burst fast-twitch cardio. So thinking I helped I get tested again....and it's at 128. All that work and I got 14 freaking NG out of it. I'm still tired all the time.

Just to be thorough he's tested a lot of other things on my second visit. My ferritin is safely low, which apparently rules out hemochromatosis, which runs in my family on my Mom's side. My other hormone levels are very safe as well, Pituitary, growth hormone, etc. My blood pressure and cholesterol are awesome. It's just my freaking testosterone. I am glad I'm not seeing one of those hack aging centers where they just stick you with testosterone if you feel tired, but this is looking to be a real issue. Anyone else have or know of someone who has had any experience in this?
At your age you shouldn't have low levels of T yet...
Have your prolactin levels checked, that's a testosterone killer
The only way to determine the condition of your Pituitary Gland is with a cat scan. The Pituitary Gland can develop small growths or tumors that while benign and treatable, cause low T production...

My testosterone levels have never been checked but it would be my best guess that they'd run very low.

And yes, I realize that tidbit of information is, no doubt, quite useless to your situation, Kaylore.

On a serious note, it sounds like your doctor knows what he's doing and following his instructions to the letter will eventually yield the results you need. Best of luck!
