No way in hell Tuitt falls to us in the 2nd unless a miracle happens. He for damn sure won't fall to the 3rd.

I am still seeing OL in several mock drafts and I just don't see it happening. Outside of a top LT or C prospect going OL in the 1st is not an option and there is neither in the draft this year at 31.

3 more because I'm obsessed. It's obvious that the last draft is skewed, there is no way Gilbert would be at 31. maybe sub Denard in for him at that 31 slot and the draft is reasonable. oh, Optimum also has Tuitt rated way too low. he keeps coming up as available at the end of round 3? Not gonna happen.

I bet Kony Ealy would start for Denver opposite Ware first yr. He's just better then anything we have at that spot regardless of Wolfe health. With Miller coming off his edge he could make some real noise first yr on the Broncos.

agreed.

One thing is for sure though I can find things I like and nitpick out of each one.

And another thing is for sure, I will do the same on draft weekend.

I am fully bracing for a disappointing weekend.
Not because I think the team will pick a crappy player. But because I fully expect the team to draft in a certain way and what drafting that way will mean.

yes indeed. Elway's drafts so far have been maddening to me for sure.

With our short window for the SB I wonder how his draft plans will change this year.

It depends on how much he intends to stay true to his statement about the team becoming tougher.
I love what Elway has done and we came out flat. But our team was not put together as a pure nasty mauling type.
We are speed, finesse and skill. If you want to get tougher you have to change the type of team you covet.

The site is fun and all, but not realistic. For example, I did a mock using the Fanspeak big board:

1. Darqueze Dennard CB
2. Jace Amaro TE
3. Will Sutton DL
4. Pierre Desir CB
5. Jeff Janis WR
6. Jon Halipo G
7. Avery Williams ILB

Think about that.. One of the best CBs in the draft, with a high upside CB prospect. A stud TE to pair with Julius. A very quality WR to groom. A high quality Guard. And a potential 3 down MLB.. Not realistic, and this was pretty much BPA and still filled needs.

The Fanspeak one is easier to get a huge draft on. Try the Ourlads and see what happens.

Su'a Filo was the only lineman I could have seen us drafting in the 1st, but since we moved Franklin that has become moot. I see LB, DB, or MAYBE WR in the 1st. OL will happen in the middle or late rounds.

I would love Ealy at 31. If we got him, my dream scenario would be a Manning to Osweiler type of apprenticeship from Ware.

On the thought of rushing Von off Ealy's side, that would be awesome, but even more difficult to protect, rush Von in tandem with Ware. Good luck stopping that.

Unless it's just 4-5 spots or so, doesnt make much sense to move up.

Malik or Wolfe would start over him.

Not sure they go DE in the 1st if at all.
