Interesting that PSU hired a guy who had a rape scandal in his program, after what went on there that got them in this mess in the first place.

That may have actually been a positive for Franklin in a weird way. Compare the way Franklin handled the rape allegations at Vanderbilt vs how Paterno handled the PSU mess. Maybe having someone who has experience dealing with these types of issues the right way was a selling point?

Or maybe they just think he's a good coach.

What does the B10 have to do with anything?

Everyone knows the B10 is down.

I'll say that the SEC is the best conference in college football (for various reasons$$$)

But they aren't THAT much better than other major conferences. Hell, the last two years have had B12 ship jumpers make noise in the SEC. Missouri and Texas A&M have had major success in that conference...how is that possible. Did they magically get better just by being in the SEC? Please.

AND...a couple years ago people were seriously talking about Alabama being able to beat an NFL team...then they lost to A&M. That is the kind of crap I'm talking about.

The Big XII doesn't even play defense. Plus, both A&M and Mizzou have gotten a recruiting boost since they joined the SEC.

Conference affiliation has literally nothing to do with recruiting.

What does B12 teams not playing defense have anything to do with anything?

Projected starting QB Ryan Williams tears his ACL in a spring scrimmage.

Our fate now rests with Bieber Jr.

Hopefully he'll take this oppurtunity seriously and not be a pothead like last year.

Can't wait for Kaaya to get here in the fall.

Is Williams done for the year?

I hate that.

I realize that spring practice is an important step in developing talent, but there are just too many injuries that seem to come along with it. OSU has a ton of injuries this spring and they still have a week of practices and their game.

He's probably done. Too bad for him, he was a fifth year senior patiently waiting his turn.

Bieber Jr is really talented and is mobile too, but very inconsistent, very arrogant and even more immature than the real Justin Bieber. No more girls, drinking, partying or weed, kid. Time to focus.

Missouri has dismissed star wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham from the team, coach Gary Pinkel announced Friday.

Dude was like the #1 recruit (or right up there) in the nation a few years ago.

He's 6'6 and 225 pounds and was on track to be a first round pick.

By the sounds of it, he was trouble....you know he had to have been trouble for him to get released like that with his talent and potential.

This kind of reminds me of Randy Moss and his tenure at Florida State....you know Randy Moss was a pain in the ass if Florida State let him go with all that talent.

At least Randy Moss got it together at Marshall and had a great NFL career.

I don't know what the future holds for this kid.

That is going to be sweet as hell. Not feeling the gray uni though. Few teams can pull that off.
