You all remember this one, don't you? Of course you probably don't because most of you never listened to PF's full catalog of awesomeness:

this! Bad enough PF lost Syd Barret, but that allowed the great David Gilmour to arrive. No Waters, no PF IMHO.

I was lucky enough to see RW wall tour twice. Both times mind blown. The Wall is "rock opera". The absolute best Pink Floyd album. Maybe the best album of all time.

These three right here, in no particular order. Though with the Floyd it really is hard to make a list of fewer than 7 or so. Not sure if it counts, but I would add Live at Pompeii as well.

Childhood's End was probably my favorite off that album.

If you really want obscure (not "Obscured"), I really like Zabriskie Point; Fingal's Cave is one of my favorite Floyd songs.

Yep....because of "Echoes"....which is one of the very best Pink Floyd songs of all-time, easily in my Top Three.

"Echoes" never sounded better than it did when they made "Live at Pompeii".

"Echoes" made "Live at Pompeii"....and it's one of the main reason "Meddle" makes my list of Top Three Floyd albums.

Those are the best in my opinion.

The wall has some good songs, but is also full of some crap. Meddle is really good, but their sound hadn't matured enough yet. Ummaguma is really fun to listen to, but a bit too experimental on some of the tracks.

Anyone that doesn't include DSOTM in their top three isn't a really a Floyd fan.

The new material suffered without Waters. MLOR and DB just weren't that great but they weren't bad either. And both have a couple songs that are still pretty good. With that being said, I think their concerts (Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse) were phenomenal at this time. Still very much Floyd at that point.
