well, that's kind of a mild bummer. it was kind of cool starting the season vs. Baltimore last year. I think it would have been swell to begin the season in Seattle.

It'd be better to face the Seahawks and Niners for middle - later in the season.

Part of me feels that way. Get it over with, maybe get a W or put up a great fight. Move on with the season, with the toughest game on the schedule behind us. If we were to go in there and get spanked again though, that would just be more negative hoopla surrounding the team and manning. We would have to listen to it for a full season until hopefully getting a chance to redeem ourselves in the SB. I know in the grand scheme of things that's all irrelevant, I just don't know how much more Seahawks sucking off I could handle.

I have this gut feeling the schedule-makers are going to have us playing SEA, NE and SF/ARI a few weeks apart. Midseason of course.

I think Seattle will be somewhere in the weeks 10-14 range. San Fran I figure will be later in the year too since we are supposedly playing them in our 3rd preseason game.

I hope we win at Arrowhead opening day. It would give us a good chance to sweep them at home instead of going to KC in December.

Everyone is going to be hungry for football when it finally does kickoff....so, if I'm the NFL...I don't waste any of the prime out of division matchups the first week. No need. Save those babies for prime time slots down the line.

I have a feeling 4 of our last 6 games will be against the division. We probably will not see KC until mid November. Oakland early, Chargers early then a whole lot of everyone else...

I'm thinking the first game will be against seattle. I think SF @ Seattle would be a bigger game later in the season when the teams are fighting for the division, as opposed to the very first game. Don't see another game seattle has that's more TV worthy than a Manning rematch.

Seattles gonna be our week 1 game IMO.

I sure hope so, but I don't expect that to happen. If we can go up to Seattle and get a victory in week 1, that will be huge. Even if we lose the game, I just hope to see us play them a lot more competitively.

I just don't see it. Don't think the Nfl will be eager for a rematch of that game on opening night. Had it actually been a good game, maybe. But you never know.
