Agreed.

I believe Alex Smith has one more year on his deal with the Cheaps. I can see the Cheaps drafting him as the future, continuing the tradition of suckage for that franchise.

He very well could be a bust, but I think he's worth the risk early in the draft. First round without a question.

That wouldn't be good, for my entertainment sake. I want to see a repeat of Tebow, when the cameras kept cutting to him after each pick went by and he wasn't drafted...

No doubt. For instance, look at the brutality guys like Wilson and Kaepernick endured during their foreshortened and unsuccessful professional careers as unconventional / mobile quarterbacks. Those guys had obviously more talent and success during their college careers, and played against such powerhouse competition as the Mountain West and Big 10. Johnny Football doesn't stand a chance.

If we do it should be fun watching the fanbase at each other's throats over yet another QB.

Kind of funny how Zimmer went off. "Sideshow", "clownish". Had some hard words for a first-time Head Coach. You don't often see first time HC's go off like that so quick, what a contrast to Leslie Frazier.

According to ESPN both Bridgewater and Manziel visiting New England. Very interesting, do they think Manziel will fall to them or will they try to move up. BB never moves up in the draft haha

I guess the best comparison would be Russell Wilson. He can only hope to be drafted by a stacked team like the Seahawks. Although towards the end of the season Wilson was getting pummeled out there.

WTF are you talking about? Tebow didnt attend the draft because they had no idea where he might fall.

Your thinking of Brady Quinn.

But let the hate continue to flow for a good guy that brought some fun back to this franchise.

some team will draft him in the first round, well before the Broncos pick. Once the first QB is off the board, they will start dropping like dominos, then there will be a pause, then the next wave of QBs will start being drafted.

lmao at Deon!

During an interview with Roland Martin on the Tom Joyner Morning Show (full transcript here), Sanders said he was a fan of Manziel, but said the negative attention he received is based on personality and perhaps something else.

“I love Johnny Football,” Sanders said. “See, the reason people won’t accept Johnny Football is because Johnny Football has ghetto tendencies. I love Johnny Football.”

Asked to clarify what “ghetto tendencies” were, Sanders continued: “Because he was successful, he made it, and he let you all know he made it, and he was cocky, he was flamboyant, and he let you know.”

Martin then made a reference to Manziel being “a white Prime Time,” and Sanders laughed.

“Thank you. And I love him. I love him,” Sanders said.
