Hillman's problem isn't touching the ball, it is holding the ball. If he can work out the ball security issue he will be a contributor for 10-20 snaps a game. He was getting better protection wise before he started dropping the ball.

TC will be interesting.

What I like about this Broncos front office is if y0u don't fit their plan they let you walk without even an offer, where as if they want you you get a solid offer and don't negotiate much. They don't low ball players. If you fit you get a solid contract that does not come back to haunt the team a few years down the road. If not it's "We don't need you and it's not about the money. Thanks & Good luck. At least they seem to do this with the starters.

Only Jamaal Charles finished the last third of the season with a higher YPC than Montee. Interesting........

Most NFL running backs are under 5'10". And you are aware Peyton Manning is on the tall end of 6'5", right?

Manning looks like the biggest guy on the field when you see him live. I was shocked how big he looked the first time I saw him. He didn't look like the bean pole I expected.

I agree, you could tell late in the season Ball was much better at running the ball. He was quicker, faster and more powerful.

I guess you didn't watch them play. If so you would post such stupid crap. Oh yes, running in shorts on a track is EXACTLY like running with a football in pads while people are trying to tackle you. Yes, it is the same thing.

lol, we're still going to throw more than any team in the NFL besides NO and Detroit. And our QB is 38 years old. if you don't think pass protection is going to be job one, you're nuts.

I would love to see Denver with more power runs and I-Formations. But you're right, Peyton will be out there throwing similar to last season. I'm worried about our OLine next season, they were destroyed during the Super Bowl.

Last year I became a KM fan...At least I didnt buy a jersey. Too bad, can't say he didn't go all out.

I am a little worried, we have NO depth. Could have brought him back pretty cheap too. Must be waiting on somebody in particular or they wouldn't risk it. Too much RBBC to think they want Ball to take the full load.

The Broncos will bring in either another vet on the cheap or draft another, probably mid to late. A guy I have them possibly targeting is Neal from Tennessee. He seems to have nice size and decent speed, and can catch the ball out of the backfield, but won't be a high draft choice. They will give Hillman another chance, and they might as well see what he can do. He was a 3rd rounder even though I never thought much of him to be honest. He's not big, so where is this blazing speed? We don't see much of this from him so far and smaller RB's who lack great speed are left to play in the CFL or Arena League.

It was one game where the entire team played like ****. The line will be fine.

And, trust me, you don't want to see the Broncos with more power formations.

most of my fellow maners seem to be overlooking the PRIMARY reason why KM was the STARTER and not Ball!
PASS PROTECTION, recognizing and picking up the blitz !
our broncos better be investing in more laundry detergent for PFMs uniform.

I hope Bell can step up and do the job, I am not eager to see brock O in a regular season game.
