Nothing more than speculations that browns feel he could get MORE on open market. Haha.

Pettine knows him though.

Revis probably wouldn't listen to the Browns if he was released

He's heard that the Ravens aren't close with Smith so the door is open for us to make a move. Quite frankly I'd be surprised if Cecil knows anything. His tweets come across as complete guesswork most of the time.

If they aren't close I wonder what he's asking

Darrelle Revis and Joe Haden would give the Browns the best starting corner duo in the NFL.

Plus if they replace Ward with Whitner it really isn't a huge drop off.

Heard they are gunning for Byrd too.

Browns have all kinds of space to make some noise.

Raiders have a lot of money to throw at Revis. Maybe that's why the browns were exploring a trade.

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to me on his future in Denver & Revis speculation: "I just sit back and wait. I'm just chilling." "I want to be in Denver. If they want to keep me we're going to make it happen--whatever we (have) to do."

Is money a hang-up for you?

"Bottom line, as long as you produce the money is going to come. I don't worry about the money."

He's right though. You produce, you get paid.

He was on a "show me" contract last season and produced as a top 5 corner in the league.

He'll be getting paid well, hopefully by the Broncos.

Revis rejected request to cut pay, won’t take less as part of a trade

I envision that issue will be handled via the draft...

Brian Hoyer isn't terrible. He looked really good before getting hurt. I think the Browns will start him, they'll be fine, and they'll draft Derek Carr to groom late in the 1st.

Ya I like Hoyer.

Plus with the ton of draft picks they have there's options to make moves.

Couple things Eddie Mac....

1. Mike Pollack resigned with the Bengals a few days ago for 3Y, 5M.
2. Arthur Moats of the Bills is supposed to be signing with Cleveland
3. Arthur Jones of Baltimore is supposed to sign with Indy for 7-8M per year.
4. Brad Meester of the Jags has retired and already lost 35 pounds.
5. Clay Harbor was resigned for 2 years by the Jags a few days ago
6. Lamarr Houston of Oakland is pretty much locked in for Chicago
7. DJ Williams of Chicago resigned yesterday for a 1 year deal
8. Erin Henderson of Minnesota was technically released.
9. Cardinals K Jay Feeley was resigned yesterday.
10. Donte Whitner is expected to sign with Cleveland.

There's a few house keeping items to clean up, I'm sure I missed others.
