hard to believe it's been 15 years since the Broncos were in the SB... all the crap that has happened since that time has been, well, disappointing. Shanahan's hubris and crappy drafts and bad defenses, along with spoiled, complaining fans who only started being a Broncos fan when the Broncos won the SB, then onto the McD fiasco, and the Tebow circus to finally getting Elway back and then Manning. Yep, it's been a wild ride.

It's been a long, hard road. So many years of hope and anguish (15 for all of us, 10 since I lurked, 8 since I regged). One more game.

Water Mock. He'd probably be in the 1,000,000 post club now if not for the Peanut butter sandwich.

If you remember the first winning season, and Ralston's special teams "bomb squad," that's even better.

If you remember the Lou Saban half-a-loaf fiasco, you're in.

If you remember when KC had a multiple TD lead on Denver and then Hank Stram started calling for onside kicks, just for practice, you have probably learned to fear the word "proctologist."
And for those of us that experienced the vertical socks.

Rode on the team bus to the Polo Grounds and sat with Goose Gonsoulin back in the day.

Awesome, Saw my first Denver broncos game at 11 yrs old at DU stadium. They had the verticle socks and the cartoon bronco helmets. I loved those helmets. I would say my favorite they ever wore. Chief's pounded the Broncos that day. I have hated the Chief's ever since.

OP mentioned Plummer… so I think that counts.

I found this place while living in Topeka, KS, and wanting to meet up with some Broncos fans in KC for a game. Met Meck and Disco and some others. Got to ride on OF1 bus from the Broncos' team hotel to Camarrowhead. We lost, but the highlight for me was when Plummer lined up as a WR and Van Pelt ran the ball in for a touchdown. No chief fan around me knew what was happening at the time.
