If Denver lost 1 more game, we would be 13-3 and regardless of what NE and KC do, we wouldn't make it out of the AFC Playoffs alive because we are well......13 and ****ing 3. It's a universal truth that we can't win **** with that record.
Not necessarily true, SoCal. One of New England's 3 losses is within their division (Jets; Oct. 20; 30-27 overtime loss). So if we lost one more game -- as long as it was NOT a division game -- we'd still have HFA, I believe. We just have to sweep our division.

Their record within the division means nothing. They own the head to head tiebreaker. That is the trump card if our records are the same.

Yeah, I get that -- if they win out and we drop one more game, then they'd own the head-to-head record. So tiebreakers wouldn't go to division record. That would come into play with KC, however, now that they're 2-1 in the division while we're 3-0.

But when we needed it last night, they couldn't do it. At all. And that's what people with their eyes open are concerned about. PM can't seem to do it in the bitter cold and wind.
