By the way, that old dude in the video is right. I've been using his technique to get keep the blade clean and delay the wear on the edge of the blade and it works. It'll add quite a bit of time to your razor.

Phil at bullgooseshaving is a class act. You will get a shipping notice within an hour of ordering from him.

Nothing but positive experiences with him.

Yes it does by that description, sorry, my mistake. I looked back at my description, and I overstated the amount of lotion. What you want is first a hot-water face soak, then a marble-plus sized ball of lotion smoothed into beard:

Then cream and shave like always ... had nary a nick in many months.

Good, I'm on board ... because, is there a bigger racket than blades?

Which is the bigger racket?
___ Razor blades

___ Printer ink/toner

I'll also agree the blade on the arm trick works I've had the same cartridge going for a couple months now you just have to do it each time you use it is what I've found.

I just saw this commercial. Anybody have any thoughts on this? It looks great, and way cheaper than buying disposable blades. But is this too good to be true?

It looks like a safety razor with a few more whistles and bells. I bet works fine. I'm sticking with my Merkur though.

I'm going to give it a try. Seeing how much I'm already paying for razors, spending $19 on this isn't a big deal.

This may sound strange to most, but I've never ever used shaving cream, gel, lotion or what have you...
I shave with noting on my skin...
I always shave after taking a bath, that's the best time and everything is nice and soft...
Never had an issue and my skin always look great!

Whoa. My worlds are colliding. NFL world is colliding with shaving world.

I, too, use a double edge safety razor, brush, soap, etc.

This morning I shaved with a Muhle R41, Feather blade, Cella shaving soap, an Omega boar brush, and La Toja aftershave.

Default Dollar Shave Club

I use this service and the razors are quality, cheap and delivered. The videos are pretty damn funny too. Check it out.
