That's been the case for decades now.

At some point, perhaps even before the earth is incinerated by the sun, libertarianism might matter.

Hey that's not too bad. What's that, 40-50 years on Hansen's calendar?

Yeah, whatever.

One of these days you might, just might, have a smidgeon of an inkling of what science is about. Until then, you're just another mindless right-winger.

Sorry kid, but anyone who watches An Inconvenient Truth, looks at it's science advisor and says "That guy, he's a real scientist" must've learned almost everything he knew about science from Brian Fantana.

That brings me to Al Gore’s book and movie of the same name: An Inconvenient Truth....The movie seems to me powerful and the book complements it, adding useful explanations. It is hard to predict how this unusual presentation will be received by the public; but Gore has put together a coherent account of a complex topic that Americans desperately need to understand. The story is scientifically accurate and yet should be understandable to the public, a public that is less and less drawn to science.

The same could be said for the decline of the Republican party. Democrats are down from 2008 too. Republicans will just be forced to change to appeal to half the people. It's politics 101. That's a good thing. Democrats will never go unopposed. Independents are at a record 45%. Democrats are wishfully thinking this means we may become a one party system that Democrats rule.

What kind of climate-related economic regulations has the Donald lobbied for?

More disgust at the GOP doesn't mean eventual Democratic rule.

The LP is, for all intents and purposes, completely irrelevant.

Good. You've learned that getting your knowledge of the science from the Donald is stupid, so you've abandoned that view.

Now you want to discuss policy. Why? I thought AGW was a fraud or a hoax, according to your political ideology. Make up your mind, please.
