Truth be told, I have tried both growing plants, herbs and home brewing, and I sucked at each. However, I think brewing is harder, more steps and variables I think then just planting seeds in soil and watering as required (yes, simplifying for sake of argument). Plus there is more support for home gardners with flower shops, nurserys, and home improvement, like Home Depot, etc. everywhere. Here in LA, I can count on one hand the merchant support for the home brewer. So agreed

So.. a kid gets hold of a THC cookie, and gets high accidentally. Mother (quite understandably) freaks out and takes her to the hospital.

Funny how the article starts out with an implication that serious harm was done.

It's certainly not a good thing, but the fact remains that pot is far less dangerous than any other drug (i.e. alcohol, tylenol, ex-lax, etc.) that a kid might be exposed to accidentally.

I've never heard of a gun owner leaving their weapon where a child could get it and the child subsequently getting injured or killed.

Oh, wait...that **** happens all the time.

Which one is easier for a 2 year old to do, lock and load a 9mm or eat a cookie they find on the ground?

Apples to oranges.

Did the several toddlers who shot other people or themselves last year lock and load the weapons themselves, or did they find a weapon already loaded and just pull the trigger?

It's irresponsible handling.

So what's your point? Is it that putting pot in cookie form is dangerous for kids? If so I'll just answer with the normal answer you guys give, which is don't blame the law, blame the individual.

Pot doesn't get people high, people get people high.

No need, prescription meds look like candy to a toddler.

Karma Kandies are truly an excellent product from Sweet Earth Palliatives. These little taffy rolls pack a 100mg THC punch that can be divided into 3-4 doses for the average user. Karma Kandies are offered in bold flavors; cinnamon, sour apple, sour strawberry, sour grape, chocolate, caramel and a Denver Relief exclusive flavor: Berry Blast.

I've gotta say, I've never tried candies, but we tried to bake some cookies a long time ago, and nothing. To me at least, it just seems like there's better ways of getting the desired effect.

A classic favorite with a powerful effect. This Gaia's Garden creation contains ~105mg THC per piece. We recommend this edible for long-lasting relief.

CannaPunch OMG is your ticket to relief. Each bottle of delicious punch contains ~100mg THC. This edible is perfect for patients who wish to accurately control their dosing. Once an appropriate amount is found, shake the bottle, pour the dose, and feel the relief.

I think you're missing the point. When you are allowed to market your adult products in cookies, gummy bears and soft drinks ...... there's your sign.

I guess you must go after the intelligence level of you target market.
