Default Michigan law bans insurance on abortion

Even when its rape, incest or life of mother.

Holy crap.......I can't believe it.

Surprised all you guys aren't talking this.

Women would have to buy rape insurance to cover it

and there is no such insurance.

JFC ..... you're a dumbass

The average full price of a first-trimester abortion in the U.S. is about $475.00.

Do you really think you need an insurance policy to cover that, hell it wouldn't even meet your deductible.

It's a non issue liberals use to make people think they have to vote for them. You know vote liberal or women won't get abortions anymore.

Your the dumbass but I already knew that............

The Michigan republican politicians are the one that siad women should buy rape insurance, not me.

Your so clueless you don't even understand the problem here.

They are saying insurance companies can not cover a medical procedure that is legal and safe and held up by the SUPREME COURT.

nON ISSUE..............only in your world.

Women run away from your party for a reason........

Polls and statistics don't lie.

Republican religious ideology being forced onto everyone.

It will never last, they are getting the signatures as we speak

to put it to a vote and as with most republican ideals it won't

get past a vote............

Short term at best

To force your religious ideals on another is wrong........

Supreme Court agrees and this won't last.

NON ISSUE...........JESUS FREAKIN CHRIST...........

Tell that to a woman violated by a rapist.............

MAYBE ONE OF YOU TWO RETARDS WILL PAY FOR THE ABORTION...........?

She shouldn't have to because of your republican ignorance.

Itís only $475.00, so why not start a rape savings account and put 40 bucks a month in for a year, it would be a lot cheaper than an insurance policy. Better yet throw a box of morning after the rape pills in your purse.

Not your decision , nor the point, I see you ignored the real issue.

Deflection seems to be in republican DNA.

Safe, legal procedure upheld by the Supreme Court.

Every time one of these abortions laws come to a vote it has failed.

Pro lifers prepare your anus for another let down.

They will get the signatures easily.

Political suicide, what part of this is difficult to understand.

So are you talking about Obamacare forcing postmenopause women to carry
maternity coverage? I'm pretty sure I don't support that.

Those old ladies also need to have state-mandated abortifacient coverage. If you deem that should be optional and separate, it's because you are warring on duh womenses.

Waste of taxpayer money, as usual. I'm sure there's already been a challenge filed, and a year or so from now it will get struck down in some federal court far below the SCOTUS.

But hey. Party of fiscal responsibility.

Supreme Court just took up the Ocare's Abortifacient mandate. More deficit spendin' (enslavin' the childrens) all around.

Next to no chance it's upheld.

How would the SCOTUS do that? Under what interpretation?

You have to admire her patience in trying to educate this wingnut...

To The Anti-Choice Coward Who Keyed My Car & Left A Note - Here's A Note For You

by Leslie SalzilloFollow

I recently came out of a Harris Teeters in Raleigh, NC, and was putting my groceries in the car, when I noticed a note attached to the passenger side windshield. I figured someone must be selling something and I wasn't interested, but knew the note would fly off - and I hate litter. So I got out, walked around the car, picked up the note and read what appeared to be second-grade level scribbling that said,
'It's a sin to kill babies.'
It's a whaaat? I looked around and saw no one, and then it hit me. You're one of them. You saw the bright pink 'I Stand With Planned Parenthood' sticker displayed on my car bumper, and you decided to school me on your idea of abortion. Isn't that nice. Thank you for warning me about Hell. It wasn't until I got home and walked back out to get the groceries from the passenger side, did I noticed that you, who I'm sure is a fine, upstanding, Godly, non-sinner, keyed my car. Yes, with two long steady narrow scratches about five feet long, you left your mark. Well, that really showed me! No more baby killing for me today!

To that person I have a few things to say. First, **** you. And second, **** you. I'm a Pro-Choice Liberal Christian mother (who sometimes cusses like a truck driver). I fully support Planned Parenthood, and I'm betting you don't know much about the organization at all. So read up. Try educating yourself:
Planned Parenthood provides health care, education, information, and outreach to more than 5 million women, men, and adolescents worldwide each year.

They provide nearly 400,000 Pap tests and nearly 500,000 breast exams each year - critical services in detecting cancer.

I bet you didn't know Planned Parenthood offers the following services for men: colon, prostate, and testicular cancer screenings, condoms, vasectomies, male infertility screenings, and referrals.

Planned Parenthood provides nearly 4.5 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted infections, including 700,00 HIV tests.

Eighty-four percent of Planned Parenthood health care clients in the U.S. are age 20 and older. One in five women in the U.S. has visited a Planned Parenthood health center at least once in her life.

Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention, and their services help prevent approximately 516,000 unintended pregnancies each year.

Pay extra attention to this one:
Only three percent (3%) of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services. Read more at: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/...

So you see, by helping women to prevent unplanned pregnancies, Planned Parenthood has actually decreased the number of abortions over the years, possibly by the millions. You're cutting your nose to spite your face. Chill the **** out. As for the choice each woman makes for herself, her body, her family, and her future - it's none of your business, nor is it mine, or anyone else's business. As for sinning, I cuss a lot, but you win this round. I don't know how Jesus would feel about you destroying my property (which is illegal), because I don't pretend to speak for Jesus. I imagine He wouldn't like it, but I'm thinking you're the kind of religious fanatic who cares little about what Jesus has to say.

You're the kind of radical asshat that gives Christians/Christianity a bad name. And speaking of His words, I have never found anywhere in the Bible where Jesus says anything about abortion. Have you? Nope. Cause it's just not there. That's a biblical fallacy made up by pseudo-Christians who want to force their extremist and controlling agendas upon women's vaginas. And they do this while spewing words of hate in name of God (which is blasphemy - also a sin).

So take your keys and illiterate looking post-it notes, and find some place to 'repent.' Be happy I didn't see you keying my car.

And grow up. Try taking that energy from the ugly rage you carry around, and use it help children already born. Let's sit down and have a civil conversation sometime. I promise I won't cuss or hit you. (Okay, I won't hit you.) No one likes abortions. No one. So let's find that common ground and look for solutions. It's possible. We both know it's possible.

Now go to your room.
