O'Brien is the best thing to happen to that program since the **** storm a couple years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Penn State and would love to see him go...but on the other hand the B10 needs to be strong and having him stay only helps the conference.

What is his buyout?

Seriously! In a non-gay man way, I admire that mans testicles. That call to go for it in quadruple overtime against Michigan, Osbourne-esque.

I was at that game and in the stands near where Belton scored.

Easily the best game I ever saw in person.

I am not. I actually went to NC State.

A guy I used to work with is an alum, and he and his ROTC buddies have an annual weekend RV trip to State College that I've gone to the last several years. My personal record at Beaver Stadium is 7-0.

I wish I had such a sparkling record when I've gone to see the Broncos.

I remember it vividly because I was studying for an anatomy practical on the urinary track and reproductive system. As a result I kept saying "oops, epididymis" whenever Michigans kicker missed a field goal. While taking the exam I got to to the cadavers testicles and started giggling, which really pissed off my professor, but I wasn't laughing at the mans junk, I was simply laughing remembering Michigans kicker missing and looking back at the coach like "oops, epididymis".

Once the SEC Network comes in 2014 that's at least 25-30 mil per year.
You severely overrate Texas and Oil money.
Bama already generates a **** load of money, plus he has several endorsement deals that the university helped broker that makes him even more money than his initial salary.

Saban is next to God only in Bama right now. Even after the epic FG **** up.
He already is a legend in his own right.
If Texas offered 15 mil a year Bama could match. There is nothing that Texas could offer that Bama couldn't match. Bama's pockets are deep.
It isn't a matter of "can" it is a matter of "will". Smart is the heir apparent so they can let him go if they wish to and promote Smart to HC.
But why let him go when he makes them a ton of money.

Bowl games start today!

The Pirate in a barn burner against CSU so far, with Wash St. ahead 38-23 early in the third. The Air Raid could offense could put up 60 today against the Rams.

And USC out in front early against Fresno in the Vegas bowl.

Deone Buchannon is someone I wouldn't mind seeing the Broncos take a shot at.

Muschamp needs to be on the horn to Helton as soon as this bowl ends. He needs to have him on the first thing smokin', movin' or flyin' to Gainesville.

O'Brien negotiated his buyout last summer from like 19m down to about 7m and now he has approached PSU about lowering it further should he go to an NFL team. Seems like he really wants to go back to the league.

This will have a huge ripple effect on us. Golden will go to Penn St. That has always been his dream, as he played there.

Goodbye, Al.

Dude had a ton of promise. Telegenic, brilliant in front of a camera and with all things PR related and a terrific recruiter. A little limited as a game day coach and too loyal to certain assistants, but overall a huge stud. Will be sad to lose him.

Michigan will start freshman quarterback Shane Morris in place of Devin Gardner in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl against Kansas State on Saturday, coach Brady Hoke announced Thursday.

Gardner, a redshirt junior, remains sidelined by a turf toe injury.

I'd like to see Minnesota beat Syracuse.

I'm surprised Syracuse is leading, although the Golden Gophers scored a few minutes ago.

Syracuse leads 14-9 with almost a quarter left to play.

I'm not sure....I turned on the game at the end of the 3rd quarter, as I forgot the game was on.

Isn't PSU top target supposed to be between James Franklin & Mike Munchak(if he gets fired by the Titans)
