not really. He will be deactivated as planned. 3rd QB spot does that exact thing.

At no time did John Elway ever play in a Super Bowl without Shanahan on the staff (lol)
At no time did Steve Young play in a Super Bowl without Shanahan on the staff
Scripting plays was something Shanahan picked up in San Francisco

I don't think this part helps your point. Cutler wasn't the reason the Bears got that far. They played one home game against the 7-9 Seahawks. Jay Cutler still hasn't won a playoff game against a winning team!

Shanahan is just daring Snyder to fire him.

How is it possible to spend less than other teams, but at the same time be right up against the Cap limit every year?

Seems like every year with Shanny they were scrambling to redo contracts prior to FA so they could get under the Cap enough to actually SPEND in FA.
SoCal is full of **** when he proclaims this type of stuff. He's reaching for straws and he's got nothing.

I love it. I think coaches should have the nuts to bench players more often (stars)and the owners should back it. Wed have a lot less entitled foot players. Jmo

McNabb has a lot valid points here. I know he hates shanahan, but what he is saying occurred in Denver AND DC...pattern

If I’m the owner of an NFL team I will hire a head coach and general manager that will answer to me…….. period end of story.

Yes guys like Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder are douche–bags but they sign the checks. There will be a line out the door of coaches that are willing to go to Washington knowing that Snyder is going to pull the strings.

What does Shanny got to lose by benching RG3 anyway? He should have done this months ago...

Wow. Daniel Snyder just needs to pull the trigger on the worst-kept secret in football. Shanahan is finished, in Washington...

Agreed, but he's not the first to make those type of remarks.

A lot of people make similar comments about shanahan(s); that's all I'm saying.

Forget that mcnabb sucked

those same players were playing poorly when Shanny went in a different direction. IMO this is all a giant clash of ego's. So far, RG3 seems to be handling it the best. But we'll see.
