![]() In my experience... At least when paying attention... It works the other way. And if an Avs loss to the Blues equals a Broncos win against the Chiefs, I'll take it.

![]() Crosby is better, but it's close. He has an extra level that Malkin can't get too. Also more consistent. Malkin has been amazing the last month though.

![]() Kings do win, but just goes to show that the shootout is extremely played out. Goalies have seen just about every move possible and the key is to not bite on moves. This makes the shootout is boring, played out and it needs to go.
Go back to the way it was, just play 10 minutes in OT and award a tie afterwards. |

![]() A weekend of beating the Chiefs, and I get to start my week off with crushing the Caps. Does it get any better? The best part of all is that Jeff Skinner is starting to get back into his groove, and is acctually playing a two way game. Both of his goals came of rushes that started on our end with good defensive play. It's about damn time.

![]() Nice 5-1 win against the Sharks for PIT.
Geno was out with a day to day injury. Hope to get him back soon, he's been on fire. 3 more points for Sid. Really impressed with youngsters on D, Maata and also Despres. When we get Martin and Scuds back from injury, this will be a really deep and quality defense which is something we have missed for awhile. Both those guys were killing it before their injuries. Only guy on D who has played poorly this year is Letang after he got paid, lol. He seems to be very upset that his chances at being on Team Canada are being harmed by reduced PP time this year. Kris needs to kick it into high gear. Shero did not give him a full NMC so there is some flexibility if youngsters continue to play well and the other two are ready to go in a month or so. The Flower has been great so far this year. Of course it's only the regular season but ill take what I can get at this point.

![]() Jeff Skinner scores 5 goals in two games for the Canes with a hat trick last night against the Preds. It's starting to look like Cam Ward is done in Carolina after Justin Peters comes in and plays two exceptional games back to back after an amazing stretch of goaltending in November. Muller has declared the ol' 'were going to let the hot hand start from this point forward' kid glove approach to calling it quits on Cam as the starter. If they get Kudobin back before the deadline I fully expect them to move on by trading Can Ward to a team with goaltending problems and cap space. It's a bitter sweet progression, but its time. On a lighter note, I have no idea what we are going to do with the top two line when Alexander Semin gets back from his concussion. The top line is rolling again, so the most logical progression is pairing him up with Jordan Stall and Nathan Gerbe on the second line. We shall see.

![]() Yeah I am choosing to pretend that game didn't happen. At least Roy is correct in his assessment that we were purely reactionary and let them dictate. Time to turn the page.

![]() So whats your thoughts on us taking Mack over Seth Jones? I wanted Seth Jones, However I am happy we have mack.. Colorado probably biggest need is a Defenseman. And since we are in a rebuild probably would have been the wiser pick. Hopefully Mack can turn it on and make me laugh that I thought this

![]() Jeff had a great Rookie campaign, but concussions really skewed his development. Muller took him under his wing this offseason, and worked with him on developing a 2 way game. After he got back from his hand injury they put him on the first line wing, and he just started playing like Sidney Crosby. I'm shocked honestly, I feel like I'm watching a completely different player, its amazing. He used to cherry pick and then get really cute with the way he penitrated the zone resulting in turnovers and well...concusions, now he's playing really solid defense on the boards (like a winger should) which is giving him one-on-ones and a crap ton of opportunities.
