My brother in law is the news director and week night anchor and he said Will was nothing but a class act and a lot of fun to be around......they all got to take photos and everything with him. He flew in that afternoon did a run through then taped the evening news which was broadcast later (Auburn vs. Alabama) and by the time the news ran he was already on his plane on the way to another event in Canada. There was people outside the studio waiting but little did they know he was already gone. This was planned for about six months now.

Will Ferrell should make a spoof of his movies and call it "Not another Will Ferrell Movie" same genre as the "Not another teen movie". And just do the same thing he does every movie "live his normal life then have a downfall and of course do the whole drunk thing and run around and his boxer shorts etc etc" you know like all his movies

Clearly movies like Old School, Anchorman, Stepbrothers, The Other Guys, Wedding Crashers and Talladega Nights completely suck. We need more "different" Will Ferrell movies like Everything Must Go and Stranger than Fiction, cause that's what the people want. They're already lining up outside theaters waiting for Stranger than Fiction 2.

I was gonna laugh this off because we just watched Elf the other day, but then I remembered, it kinda goes down like that too.

Everything must go? Was that the one where he was sleeping on the lawn with all his stuff? That was pretty awful.

WF's cameo appearances are the best. I guess Wedding Crashers is kinda one of those. Or that newer movie with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson about Google. His 5 minutes were the best part of the whole thing.

No it wasn't (Kicking and Screaming). I have kids and it is a movie of Will's that they can watch (other being ELF). We love youth soccer and many of that movie is spot on with youth sports. Ripping on Mike Ditka ("Hey Juice Box! Yeah, I'm talking to you. Get me another Juice Box!") . Is it Old School? No, but it is made for kids and parents. I thought Step Brothers was one of his worst movies.

It's been too long for me to completely remember, but it never occurred to me as a movie one would really watch with kids. Might have to watch it again.

'Step Brothers' is probably my favorite Will Ferrell movie.

I watched it again and there are some good scenes that I missed before. I also thought Anchorman lacked some of his normal "funnies" but I have watched it again and it has grown on me. Old School was good the first time. That thing is or will be a classic.
